Democrat Governor Jerry Brown vetoes school sexual indoctrination bill

Thomasson: "Parents and teachers sick of K-12 public schools becoming non-academic, sexual indoctrination centers are relieved that Governor Jerry Brown has vetoed AB 2153"

Sacramento, California -- In light of Democrat Governor Jerry Brown of California vetoing the latest school sexual indoctrination bill, Randy Thomasson of SaveCalifornia.com, representing children and families in California since 1999, has issued the following statement:

"Parents and teachers sick of K-12 public schools becoming non-academic, sexual indoctrination centers are relieved that Governor Jerry Brown has vetoed AB 2153.

"AB 2153 would have brainwashed teachers to then brainwash impressionable children, by requiring in-service training 'for the support of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) pupils, as well as strategies to increase support for LGBTQ pupils.' In other words, teach children a sexual lie and help train up aggressive homosexual and transsexual activists right there on campus.

"Voters will be interested to know who the 80 Democrats and 12 Republicans are who voted for this non-academic bill further dumbing down schools.

"This bad bill would have created a new unfunded mandate upon school districts, taking away more emphasis from reading, writing, and arithmetic. Non-academic bills like this are inexcusable when 70 percent of children already lack grade-level proficiency in the fundamentals.

"California public schools don't need more sexual indoctrination laws, they need less. With 10 sexual indoctrination laws currently on the books, parents already have plenty of incentive to rescue their children and give them a real education via homeschooling or church schools."
