Parents, protect your kids from Harvey Milk's sexual indoctrination
No parental permission for "Harvey Milk" activities in K-12 public schools
Sacramento, California -- SaveCalifornia.com, a leading West Coast pro-family, pro-child organization, is urging parents with children still in K-12 government schools to call their teachers and principals to ask whether teen predator and sexual anarchist Harvey Milk will be honored or mentioned this week in classes or assemblies, and if so, to keep their children home that day or several days.
As the Sacramento Bee reported on Sunday: "Randy Thomasson of SaveCalifornia.com has decried last year's passage of Sen. Mark Leno's bill encouraging public schools and educational institutions to conduct commemorative exercises May 22. Thomasson suggested in a podcast that the gay community would use the day to 'sexually indoctrinate' school-age children."
SaveCalifornia.com has produced a web page and podcast to alert and direct parents, and has built a site called RescueYourChild.com to help parents permanently remove their children from the imploding government school system.
According to the 1982 biography, "The Mayor of Castro Street: The Life and Times of Harvey Milk," by Randy Shilts, a reputable reporter with the San Francisco Chronicle, Milk
» Was a sexual predator of teens -- "Harvey always had a penchant for young waifs with substance abuse problems." (page 180)
» Advocated multiple sexual relationships at the same time -- "There's no reason why you can't love more than one person at a time. You don't have to love them all the same. You love some less, love some more..." (page 237-238)
» Publicly lied for years about his military career in order to get ahead -- "Maybe people will read it, feel sorry for me, and then vote for me" (page 78-79)
» Aggressively advocated in 1978 that cult leader Jim Jones retain custody of a boy, John Stoen, who Jones poisoned later that same year (see Harvey Milk's letter to President Jimmy Carter calling Jim Jones "a man of the highest character" and a "loving, protective parent")
"The biography of Harvey Milk shows he was a teen predator, sexual anarchist, public liar and a dishonorable character that doesn't deserve a minute of positive attention in schools," said SaveCalifornia.com President Randy Thomasson. "Parents need to realize Harvey Milk Day isn't about 'tolerance,' 'equality' or 'hope' - it's about desensitizing children as young as kindergarten to support the unhealthy and unnatural homosexual-bisexual-transsexual agenda of a notorious gay activist named Harvey Milk. Mothers and fathers should quiz teachers and principals and, if necessary, yank their God-given children out of public schools to protect them from this brainwashing."
Harvey Milk Day for children in California public schools was signed into law last year by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger after being approved by nearly all of the Democrats and former Republican senator Abel Maldonado. Children at participating schools will perform "suitable commemorative exercises," likely between May 17 and 28.
What could Harvey Milk Day look like in public schools? The "suitable commemorative exercises," remembering the "life," "accomplishments," and "contributions" of Harvey Milk are undefined in the new law, and could be anything that Milk believed in. Exercises could include:
» Pro-Harvey Milk reading and writing assignments and tests
» Making children watch the sanitized and part-fiction film "Milk"
» School assemblies teaching children that homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality are good and natural and maybe even for them
» Having children participate in mock gay-pride parades and mock gay weddings.
» In sum, children could be taught just about anything school officials or individual teachers think up (and no, there's no state law prohibiting the promotion of homosexual, bisexual, or transsexual lifestyles to impressionable children).
From the SaveCalifornia.com website: "May 22, Harvey Milk's birthday, falls on a Saturday this year, but the danger period is May 17 to 28. It's up to teachers, principals, and school districts whether to promote Harvey Milk's homosexual-bisexual-transsexual agenda to impressionable children. And Harvey Milk Day exercises and activities will occur behind parents' backs because the law does not require teachers or school officials to seek your permission or even notify you. This is why parents have to quiz teachers and principals to see whether Harvey Milk will be honored in classrooms, in a school assembly, through a school-wide announcement, etc."
