Carrie Prejean vs. the ugly, intolerant homosexual agenda that's against everybody else
Thomasson: "Donald Trump has to avoid hypocrisy, he's got to respect Carrie's right to her opinion and let her keep her Miss California title."
Sacramento, California -- SaveAmerica.com, a leading West Coast pro-family organization, is blaming the intolerant homosexual agenda for trying to strip the crown of Miss California Carrie Prejean.
Holding a Beverly Hills news conference today to call for stripping away Prejean's crown were Miss California pageant co-directors Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler, both of whom have been fiercely attacking Prejean ever since the April 19 Miss USA pageant, when she said "marriage should be between a man and a woman."
Lewis is an open homosexual who strongly opposed Proposition 8, California's man-woman marriage law. Moakler also believes in homosexual "marriages" and was the first "celebrity" to openly criticize Prejean's response to homosexual activist Perez Hilton in the Miss USA pageant. Currently, Lewis and Moakler are working together to produce a "No H8" commercial urging Californians to legalize "same-sex marriages."
"The real story here is that the intolerant homosexual agenda is trampling free speech and religious freedom and anything else that gets in its way," said Randy Thomasson, president of SaveAmerica.com. "This public squabble is showing average Americans how homosexual activists who are in power treat people who disagree. It's essentially 'Agree with us or we'll punish you,' the very height of intolerance."
"Perez Hilton and Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler are all big-time supporters of the homosexual agenda," Thomasson said. "They've been trying to punish Carrie Prejean ever since she said she believes in the natural institution of marriage between a man and a woman. America is seeing the ugly, intolerant face of the homosexual agenda, which allows no dissent and takes no prisoners. It's un-American to the core."
Donald Trump, who owns the Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss California pageants, has scheduled a news conference tomorrow to announce whether Carrie Prejean will be allowed to keep her crown.
"Donald Trump has to avoid hypocrisy, he's got to respect Carrie's right to her opinion and let her keep her Miss California title," said Thomasson. "In 2006, Trump let Miss USA Tara Conner keep her crown despite allegations of drug use, underage drinking and sexual misconduct. To avoid being seen as a hypocrite and as an intolerant accomplice of the homosexual agenda, Trump must side with free speech and oppose the mean-spirited attack on Prejean by homosexual activists, who have forgotten that beauty pageants are about beauty, character, poise, confidence and personality, not the homosexual agenda that's being force-fed to average Americans and their children."
