// Pastors, Youth Workers, Church Leaders
There's a problem both inside and outside the church today that simply cannot be ignorned. TO SAVE A LIFE not only directly exposes issues facing many teens outside of the church, but also exposes what's going on with many young people inside Christian youth groups today. This movie challenges you to look beyond the surface at the teens in your sphere of influence, and should result in a renewed commitment to lead and point them to a real and deeper life-walk with Jesus Christ. We hope it will also inspire you to reach outside of your church box to a world of young people who desperately need the Truth. Click for outreach resources and more »

// Why is To Save A Life PG-13 (from www.tosavealifemovie.com)
To Save A Life has been rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America "due to mature thematic elements involving teen suicide, teen drinking, some drug content, disturbing images, and sexuality."
Unfortunately, teens today are hurting and facing challenges like never before. We see it in our local schools, clubs, teams, and youth groups. (So does the film's writer, Jim Britts, who is an experienced youth worker.) Because of that, To Save A Life doesn't shy away from tough topics. It deals with social divisions, school violence, cutting, suicide, teen pregnancy and divorce—not in a graphic way, but in a way authentic to too many teens' real lives. Ultimately, it asks the question "What's my life going to be about?" and dares viewers to answer with boldness, honesty, and open-handedness.
