4/5/11: California sexual brainwashing bill passes another hurdle

SAVECALIFORNIA.COM NEWS RELEASE

California sexual brainwashing bill passes another hurdle
Thomasson: "Parents don't want and children don't need 'LGBTIQ' role models"

** Parents and concerned citizens: Send your pre-written message opposing SB 48 **

Sacramento, California – Moving forward in the Democrat-controlled California Legislature are “lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans” as role models for children as young as kindergarten.

Today, the Senate Judiciary Committee -- on a party-line vote, Democrats for and Republicans against -- passed what would be the 7th school sexual indoctrination law teaching children to regard homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality as good and natural.

SB 48 would mandate that history and social studies textbooks and instructional materials teach children to admire “lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans” as role models. The proponents of the bill seem to have forgotten there are already six statewide school sexual indoctrination laws affirming homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality.

“Parents don’t want and children don’t need ‘LGBTIQ’ role models in school,” said Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com, a leading statewide pro-family, pro-child organization. "This is sexual brainwashing to the extreme. It’s damaging and nonacademic to teach children a lie -- that homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality are natural and healthy lifestyles, when they’re not.” (Sources: "Is There A 'Gay Gene?'" and "The Health Risks of Gay Sex")

“SB 48 micromanages public schools by forcing teachers, administrators, local school boards, textbooks, and instructional materials to promote a gaggle of sexual lifestyles that disturb parents and confuse kids," Thomasson said. "This state mandate targets children for sexual brainwashing, behind the backs of parents, teaching boys and girls to admire those who engage in homosexual, bisexual, or transsexual behavior.”

If SB 48 becomes law:

1. Textbooks and instructional materials must positively promote “lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans” as “role” models.

2. Children as young as 6 years old will be taught to admire homosexuality, same-sex “marriages,” bisexuality, and transsexuality (sex-change operations).

3. Children will be taught to support the political activism of “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Questioning” (LGBTIQ) political groups, as the bill requires “particular emphasis on portraying the role of these groups in contemporary society.”

4. Teachers will be made to positively portray homosexuality, same-sex “marriages,” bisexuality, and transsexuality (sex-changes operations), because to be silent can bring the charge of “reflecting adversely.”

5. School boards will be required to select textbooks and other instructional materials that positively portray sex-change operations, same-sex “marriages,” and more, because to be silent on these subjects opens them up to charges of “reflecting adversely.”

6. Parents will not be notified, nor will they be able to exempt their children, from this new core curriculum.

“California government schools are no longer morally safe for impressionable children,” Thomasson said. “Because of the raft of sexual indoctrination laws already in force, promoting homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality under the guise of ‘discrimination’ and ‘harassment,’ the social engineers are already having their way with more than six million boys and girls, with or without SB 48. That's why we strongly urge parents to rescue their children by permanently removing them from government schools and placing them in the safe havens of church schools or homeschooling." “This week Governor Jerry Brown turns 73 years old,” Thomasson concluded. “When he was a boy, public schools were good and didn’t push sexual indoctrination. Now public schools aren’t so good, yet homosexual activists are pushing their non-academic agenda without regard to parents or logic or the best interests of children. We call on Governor Brown to prepare to veto this bad bill that greatly disturbs parents, confuses kids, and would flush public schools farther down the toilet.”

4/13/11: Morally-sensitive parents to keep their children home Friday

SAVECALIFORNIA.COM NEWS RELEASE
April 13, 2011 -- For Immediate Release

Morally-sensitive parents to keep their children home Friday
So-called 'Day of Silence' is in-your-face sexual indoctrination

Sacramento, California --  SaveCalifornia.com, a leading pro-family, pro-child organization, is calling upon parents of children in public schools to keep their kids home during this Friday's disruptive "Day of Silence."

On Friday, April 15, students participating in the "Day of Silence" will wear pro-homosexuality T-shirts, buttons, and stickers, refuse to answer teachers' questions in classrooms, make it difficult for other students to concentrate, and generally take over school campuses for the entire day.

School administrators have frequently denied sponsoring, participating in, or allowing the "Day of Silence," but are nonetheless allowing students to be silent without consequences. Even some teachers will "go silent," writing pro-homosexuality messages on boards, and setting up classroom displays to teach impressionable children that aggressive homosexual activists are "victims"; that more laws promoting their agenda are needed, when there are already numerous laws prohibiting physical harassment of students; and that homosexuality is natural and healthy, when it is actually unnatural and unhealthy. (Sources: NARTH: Is there a "gay gene"? and American College of Pediatricians: Health risks of the homosexual lifestyle)

"Parents who are hearing about 'Day of Silence' are appalled this immoral takeover is happening," said SaveCalifornia.com President Randy Thomasson. "They don't want their children subjected to in-your-face sexual indoctrination, so they're keeping their kids home. Because school districts are allowing this brainwashing during the entire school day, morally-sensitive parents are counter-protesting by removing both their child and the child's ADA funding on Friday."

See SaveCalifornia.com's website urging parents to "just walk out" of the "Day of Silence."

According to the "Day of Silence" website, three years ago some 8,000+ elementary, middle, and high schools participated, as well as some colleges.

As the homosexual activists themselves explain:

"The Day of Silence is a perfect tool for creating change. We wanted a queer-friendly prom, and after showing that many students and staff care -- we got a queer-friendly prom. We said we wouldn't be silenced and we won't."

"The Day of Silence can be a great tool to catapult change at your school! Do you want a more LGBT inclusive library, teacher training, LGBT inclusive nondiscrimination policies or something else?"

"It's not academic to disrupt the school day for politically-correct sexual propaganda," Thomasson said. "It's not scientific to claim being 'gay and lesbian' is good and natural without teaching children the facts -- that there's no 'gay gene' and that homosexual behavior is the primary mode of HIV/AIDS transmission. And it's not scholarly to say this issue is about safety, since numerous laws already prohibit physical harassment or violence on school campuses."

5/17/11: SaveCalifornia.com releases video warning parents about Harvey Milk indoctrination

SAVECALIFORNIA.COM NEWS RELEASE

Eye-opening video warns Calif. parents about Harvey Milk indoctrination this week
SaveCalifornia.com calls on dads and moms to protect their kids from "LGBT" laws

Sacramento, California -- SaveCalifornia.com, a leading California family organization, has released an eye-opening video warning fathers and mothers to protect their children from Harvey Milk's homosexual-bisexual-transsexual indoctrination.

"Since the Democrat state legislators have passed law after law attacking the sexual innocence of children," said SaveCalifornia.com President Randy Thomasson, "we are standing in the gap to help parents see reality -- that their children will be sexually indoctrinated in the government schools unless they intervene. Harvey Milk Day is just one example."

View the 3-minute video produced by SaveCalifornia.com here.

At a Sacramento news conference on Tuesday, Thomasson, along with parents, retired teachers, and Dr. Benjamin Kaufman, co-founder of NARTH and a leading psychiatric expert on gender identity disorders, called upon mothers and fathers to warn their children's public school teachers not to honor the late homosexual activist Harvey Milk of San Francisco.

The parents who spoke said they will keep their children home from school if that's what it takes to protect them from sexual brainwashing.

SaveCalifornia.com has created a web form where parents can send a prewritten message asking teachers if they are going to honor Harvey Milk. See the form on this page.

In addition, SaveCalifornia.com is showing parents the undeniable evidence that homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality are unnatural and unhealthy. See the facts here.

A state law signed by Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2009 calls upon all K-12 public schools to teach children as 5 years old to honor homosexual activist and teen predator Harvey Milk.

It is up to teachers and principals in public schools to decide every May whether children will be required to perform pro-Milk "exercises" (the week before or after May 22, Milk's birthday).

There is no parental consent or notification required.

See the documentation on Milk and "Harvey Milk Day" affecting children in government schools.

4/14/11: California Senate mandates homosexual role models for schoolchildren

SAVECALIFORNIA.COM NEWS RELEASE
April 14, 2011 -- For Immediate Release

California Senate mandates homosexual role models for schoolchildren
Thomasson: "Parents don't want and children don't need 'LGBTIQ' role models"

Sacramento, California – With today's passage by the Democrat-controlled California State Senate of “lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans” as mandatory role models for children as young as kindergarten, SaveCalifornia.com, a leading West Coast pro-family, pro-child organization is calling upon California parents to permanently remove their children from the government school system.

Today, the California Senate, on a 23 to 14 vote -- Democrats for, Republicans against -- approved what would be the 7th school sexual indoctrination law teaching children to view homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality as a good and natural lifestyle option. The vote comes the day before the disruptive "Day of Silence" in public schools, sponsored by the "Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network," which SaveCalifornia.com is urging parents to counter-protest by keeping their kids home this Friday.

“This clear and present danger should motivate fathers and mothers to rescue their children from California government schools and take them to the safe havens of solid church schools and homeschooling,” said Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com. "Parents don’t want and children don’t need ‘LGBTIQ’ role models in school, SB 48 is sexual brainwashing in the extreme. It’s damaging and nonacademic to teach children a lie -- that homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality are natural and healthy lifestyles, when they’re not.”

(Source: RescueYourChild.com)

“We call on Governor Jerry Brown to have compassion, to respect parents, and to remember when public schools used to be good and didn't push sexual indoctrination," Thomasson said. 6/16/11: Response to Governor Brown's budget veto

SAVECALIFORNIA.COM NEWS RELEASE
June 16, 2011 -- For Immediate Release

Response to Governor Brown's Budget Veto
by SaveCalifornia.com President Randy Thomasson

Sacramento, California -- In response to today's veto by Governor Jerry Brown of the Democrats' budget bill, Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com, a non-profit, non-partisan statewide organization that promotes moral virtues for the common good, released the following statement:

"Jerry Brown may like higher taxes and fees, but he's doesn't like them in an obvious sham budget or in a way that makes him look bad. Whether his veto is for the sake of image or principle doesn't matter as much as the fact that California families have been saved, for the time being, from more taxes and fees that take away their hard-earned money for a wasteful, greedy government to devour. We call on principled Californians to rise up and urge their state legislators -- especially Republican assemblymembers and senators who can stop the Democrats' money grab -- to resist any and all tax hikes or fee hikes at the state and local levels."
