Who is new U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson?

Wednesday, October 25, 2023, 2:38 pm | Randy Thomasson

Well, the obvious fact is he’s not Kevin McCarthy. But even better, Johnson is much more conservative than McCarthy and is not part of the RINO crowd.

During the three-week saga of Republican nominees for Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, we’ve gone from “RINO B” to “Constitutional Champ A” to “RINO A” to “Constitutional Champ B.”

Mike Johnson is a good speaker pick because the conservatives persevered and the RINOs folded!

And thank you for your phone calls demanding a conservative constitutional fighter!

And when New Communist Democrats Barbara Lee, Katie, Porter, and Adam Schiff are afraid of Speaker Mike Johnson, you should be glad.

Of all the Republican candidates for speaker this month, Mike Johnson of Louisiana was the 5th-most conservative, receiving 74% on his Liberty Score, after Gary Palmer (80%), Kevin Hern (82%), Jim Jordan (94%), and Byron Donalds (100%). Johnson known as a conservative constitutional scholar, who called for the arrest of Nancy Pelosi for destroying an official document.

Mike Johnson is a strong pro-life conservative and a strong pro-family conservative who has publicly opposed tyrannical “LGBTQIA+” activists.

And because a strong suit of Mike Johnson is he’s a leader for election integrity, and because he was a vocal opponent of the kangaroo-court “January 6th” committee and its sham “hearings,” we must lobby Johnson to release all the January 6, 2021 videotapes, commission a subcommittee investigation of election-fraud allegations nationwide, and investigate the due process rights being denied political prisoners in both Washington, D.C. and Minneapolis.

We need aggressive, eye-opening investigations of the open border, the harm of Planned Parenthood abortionists and the “LGBTQIA+” agenda, the desperate need for medical freedom, and the absolute need to protect our God-given parental rights, religious rights, and small business rights. We also need to demand tough investigations and public exposure of the Bidens and the Deep State. Mike Johnson can deliver all this, whereas Kevin McCarthy was not our champion, but was, at many times, an obstacle.

ACT NOW: Please call the office of Speaker of the House Mike Johnson at 202-225-2777 to leave a message telling him what he needs to investigate.

Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

Needed: A conservative constitutional fighter

Sunday, October 22, 2023, 12:05 pm | Randy Thomasson

2ND UPDATE Tuesday Oct. 24: In tonight’s Republican caucus meeting, a fourth round of voting to choose a House speaker nominee. And, with 128 votes, Mike Johnson of Louisiana has the majority. Among all the speaker candidates so far, with Liberty Score of 74%, Mike Johnson is the 5th-most conservative (after Byron Donalds (100%), Jim Jordan (94%), Kevin Hern (82%), and Gary Palmer (80%). So will the RINOs finally fold and support Johnson?

UPDATE Tuesday Oct. 24: Today, RINO Tom Emmer (Majority Whip under former speaker Kevin McCarthy) won the majority vote of the Republican caucus. Yet it took four ballots, more Emmer and his moderate/liberal “Republican” allies expected. Then Emmer requested a roll call vote of Republicans and more than 20 conservative, moral-values Republicans said “no way” to Emmer’s left-leaning candidacy. So after 4 hours of hard questions in this private “town hall meeting,” Emmer ended his bid for speaker (see latest updates).

As soon as Wednesday, Oct. 25, another round — five Republicans will speak to the Republican caucus members about why they should be speaker. Among the five now running, can you spot the RINOs (Republicans in Name Only)? Hint: They have low grades on conservative, constitutional policies:

Byron Donalds of Florida
Liberty Score 100% (A grade)

Chuck Fleischmann of Tennessee
Liberty Score 56% (F grade)

Mark Green of Tennessee
Liberty Score 85% (B grade)

Mike Johnson of Louisiana
Liberty Score 74% (C grade)

Roger Williams of Texas
Liberty Score 76% (C grade)

Call your Republican U.S. Rep now at 202-225-3121 to demand Byron Donalds as speaker!

After rejecting both RINO Steve Scalise and pro-family constitutionalist Jim Jordan, the registered Republicans running the U.S. House of Representatives are now on “round three” of speaker candidates.

Demonstrating how this race is now wide open, there are several who have thrown their hats into the ring. On Friday, SaveCalifornia.com showed our social media followers the conservative moral/social/fiscal issues Liberty Scores of the speaker candidates:

Today’s update is Jodey Arrington of Texas is not running, but Gary Palmer of Alabama is. And among the Republican speaker candidates, Palmer has the third-highest Liberty Score — 80%. The Republican caucus is expected to hold internal votes as soon as this Tuesday.

UPDATE Monday, Oct. 23: RINO Republican Dan Meuser has dropped out.

Why do these scores, based on member’s actual votes, matter? Because we need a conservative constitutional fighter as the powerful Speaker of the House to: short-term, steadfastly stop all bad bills; mid-term, aggressively use the House’s investigatory powers to expose the Deep State, the Bidens, election fraud, and much more; and long-term, to help true conservatives (not RINOs) be elected.

TAKE QUICK ACTION: Call your own Republican U.S. Representative (if you have one), to say “Support a conservative constitutional fighter for speaker.” It would also be wise to name your top 1, 2, or 3 speaker picks, since at Tuesday’s private, internal meeting, there might be several ballots in an elimination process. Call 202-225-3121 and provide your zip code, or send an email via house.gov when you enter your zip code.

UPDATE: Dems attack parents + what to do now

Thursday, September 7, 2023, 5:59 pm | Randy Thomasson

You’ve probably already heard that the ruling Democrats in the California State Senate on Wednesday passed 2 big anti-parent bills: AB 665 coercively emancipating 12-year-olds for any reason, and AB 957 discriminating against religious parents in child custody cases.

But do you know why 30 Democrats voted for AB 957 and 31 Democrats approved AB 665?

1. Because Democrat politicians actually oppose parents’ rights: With their votes and even their words — especially on the Assembly floor this year — Democrat Party legislators increasingly believe parents “get in the way” of the Democrats’ “LGBTQIA+” and abortion (baby-killing) agendas. This subversive philosophy was strengthened last year when SB 866 initially passed the State Senate, making it “easier” for them to trample parental rights.

2. Because Democrat politicians prostitute themselves to “LGBTQIA+”: Both bills, especially AB 957, were sold to the ruling Democrats as benefitting children who “identify” as another “gender.” Experts at playing the “LGBTQIA+ card,” Democrat bosses twisted the arms of 4 Democrats who, June 13 in the Senate Judiciary Committee, had demanded a religious-freedom amendment as a condition to support AB 957 on the floor. Yet no religious accommodation was put in the bill, since those 4 Democrats were reminded how the “LGBTQIA+” agenda supersedes everything. And with AB 665, Democrat state senators were sold how this somehow benefitted “LGBT youth.” You see, in order to capture kids, their perversity agenda must squash God-given parental rights, every time.

3. Because Democrat politicians are professional liars: Over the years, I’ve repeatedly seen Democrat legislators draft deceitful bills, redefine and misdefine words, break their promises, and arrogantly claim what’s true is false and what’s false is true. AB 665 author Wendy Carrillo falsely claimed her bill never threatened parents, and said AB 665 is for “homeless youth,” when that’s not even a condition of her bill. And AB 957 author Lori Wilson claimed religious parents would never have their children taken away, that her judicial mandate is not a mandate, and that she’d “work” with the Judiciary Committee chair to amend AB 957 to accommodate religious parents — but these were all lies.

YOUR PARENTAL RIGHTS ACTION STEPS:

You can have practical hope because Gavin Newsom is running for president and has a $31.5 BILLION state budget deficit hanging over him. So please call and email him to remind him how unpopular AB 665 and AB 957 are.

1. Please call Newsom’s constituent services office, Monday-Friday, 9-5 at 916-445-2841. When a staffer answers, tell the staffer paid to take your simple message: “I’m calling to urge Governor Newsom to veto the anti-parent bills AB 665 and AB 957.”

2. Also use Newsom’s web form to oppose both bills.

On this page, here are the steps:

1. Under “What is your request or comment about?”, scroll to and select “Legislation Issues/Concerns”

2. Under “What is the purpose of your message?”, select “Leave a Comment”

3. Click “Next” to go to the next page

4. Under “If applicable, what is your stance on this topic?, click “Con”

5. In the message field, simply write in all caps: VETO ANTI-PARENT BILLS AB 665 AND AB 957

6. Click “Next” to go to the next page

7. Enter your first and last name and email address (but not your phone number)

8. Click “Submit”

The California State Legislature will adjourn its 2023 session on September 14; the governor will have until October 14 to sign or veto bills.

Democratic governors don’t tend to jump at the chance for a sit-down interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News. They also don’t tend to do tours of states they consider hostile to their own, like Florida. But then there’s California’s Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom. He prefers the national stage to dealing with the rampant dysfunction happening in his own state. And while Newsom claims he isn’t running for president, the evidence suggests he actually is.
