'Why Are Democrat Legislators Supporting Child Sex Abuse?'
California committee kills bill that would have punished teachers who seduce students

• Homosexual committe chair Tom Ammiano, Democrat from San Francisco: "We have to protect free speech even when we don't like it"

• AB 1861 author, Republican Assemblywoman Kristin Olsen of Modesto: "The committee today stood up for predators and union bosses instead of students" -- but the two committee Republicans didn't speak out and missed the vote

• The California Federation of Teachers and American Civil Liberties Union opposed the bill

WHAT WE SAID:

Sacramento, California -- In response to today's defeat by the Assembly Public Safety Committee (membership is 4 Democrats, 2 Republicans) of AB 1861, which would have punished public school teachers and employees that attempt to seduce schoolchildren, Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com, which promotes moral virtues for the common good, has issued the following statement:

"Why are Democrat legislators supporting child sex abuse? Why don't they care about children's immature hearts and minds being immorally manipulated and sexually seduced by public school teachers? It is certifiably evil that this bill to protect schoolchildren's bodies was defeated by this Democrat-controlled committee. This is yet another reason for conscientious parents to flee the dysfunctional, immoral, and imploding government school system for church schools and home schools, which are much safer physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually."
