Statement on 'Queer Youth Advocacy Day' at California's Capitol
'Allowing boys into girls' school bathrooms and showers is a foolish and disruptive notion'
Sacramento, California -- A leading pro-family organization says today's "Queer Youth Advocacy Day" at the California State Capitol represents a deceptive agenda that harms children and families.
The main bill the homosexual, bisexual, and transsexual youth are pushing for is AB 1266, which forces K-12 public schools to permit biological boys into girls' restrooms, showers, clubs, and on girls' sports teams; and biological girls into boys' restrooms, showers, clubs, and on boys' sports teams.
"Allowing boys into girls' school bathrooms and showers is a foolish and disruptive notion," said Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com, which promotes moral virtues for the common good. "Biological boys have XY chromosomes and biological girls have XX chromosomes. It's not logical, valid, or true for anyone to claim to be a gender that doesn't match their God-given chromosomes. The Democrats' mandating of gender-bending, transsexual school bathrooms would be the 10th public school sexual indoctrination law in California if Governor Jerry Brown goes along with the homosexual groups and their anti-family, Democrat legislators."
"Queer means unnatural, and these confused and rebellious kids ought to recognize the fact that homosexual behavior is unhealthy to those who practice it," Thomasson said. "There's no so-called 'gay gene," but there are thousands and thousands of former homosexuals who have left this behavior behind for good. Those who practice homosexuality have more health problems, including higher rates of sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV/AIDS, as well as higher rates of cancer. Why teach children that it's unhealthy to smoke, do drugs, or get drunk, but then tell them it's OK to engage in unhealthy homosexual-bisexual-transsexual behavior?"
