Shame on Feinstein, Obama, for attacking real marriage
Thomasson: 'If you don't have a man and a woman, you don't have marriage'

Sacramento, California -- One of California's top voices for real marriage between one man and one woman is speaking out today against the scheme of Dianne Feinstein and Barack Obama to destroy the uniqueness of marriage between a man and a woman, a husband and wife, by repealing the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).

"Didn't Barack Obama tell everyone in 2008 that he supported marriage for only a man and a woman? Why the flip flop? Is it because it's election season and he needs to stir up his liberal voter bloc?" asked Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com, a statewide pro-family organization promoting moral values for the common good.

"Fortunately, even if the natural, unique, and beautiful institution of marriage between a man and a woman is attacked by Dianne Feinstein and the Senate Democrats, this bad idea will be stopped, thankfully, by the Republican House," Thomasson said.

"Feinstein and Obama are greatly offending racial and ethnic minorities, who everyday, see evidence in the mirror that a male is very different from a female, and know deep in their hearts that real marriage is only between a man and a woman," Thomasson added. "Science says there are male and female chromosomes, but there's no 'gay gene.'"

"Ironically, the Senate Democrats are against democracy," Thomasson said. "They want to get rid of the Defense of Marriage Act so they can force more than 40 states to accept homosexual 'marriages' despite the vote of the people against it," Thomasson said.

"Dianne Feinstein needs to get out of fantasyland and into reality: A man and a woman were created to fit together, to experience sexual oneness, and to have children together from the husband's sperm and the woman's egg through God's miracle of procreation," Thomasson said. "If you don't have a man and a woman, you don't have marriage. And the rights of marriage belong only to marriage, just as your personal property belongs only to you."

"However, under California law, homosexual 'domestic partners' already receive every marriage benefit of a married husband and wife," Thomasson said. "But for the sake of impressionable children and the future of family, this counterfeit of marriage should not be expanded nationwide."
