For California’s “election month” (Oct. 6 to Nov. 3), grasp these facts:
- Conservatives are energized: The voter identification statewide measure (Proposition 39) is likely to energize even more California conservatives to get out and vote. Because the polls chronically under-survey conservatives.
- Don’t trust the polls: Jim McLaughlin, a pollster for President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign, told Newsmax on Friday that polls are undersampling Republicans … “Look, a lot of these polls, some of them are just bad because people are incompetent,” McLaughlin said, adding that other surveys are undersampling Republicans.
- You can make a difference: One person CAN inform others, thus legally multiplying good votes. Use your email list and social media to inform family, friends, and acquaintances about who and what to vote for and against. Let’s each do our part to love God and people this important election season!

The Church must take right ground in regard to politics… Politics are a part of a religion in such a country as this, and Christians must do their duty to the country as part of their duty to God… God will bless or curse this nation, according to the course Christians take in politics.
American Christian revivalist, author and educator Charles Grandison Finney (1792-1875)
