Randy Thomasson on Barack Obama's attack on marriage
"Obama's following in the footsteps of another liar, Jerry Brown of California, who refused to do his sworn duty" on marriage

Sacramento, California – Longtime natural marriage defender and SaveCalifornia.com President Randy Thomasson has issued his response to the Obama Administration announcing it will no longer defend the federal Defense of Marriage Act in court:

“Barack Obama lied when he said he’d defend marriage for only a man and a woman. Now Obama's following in the footsteps of another liar, Jerry Brown of California, who refused to do his sworn duty to defend the people’s vote on marriage in court. Call it what you want, but this is the opposite of law-abiding and smells like corruption and political prostitution. SaveCalifornia.com calls on the Republican House, which hopefully still believes we are a nation of laws, to intervene and save the federal Defense of Marriage Act.

“It’s downright frightening to hear U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder suggest that moral disapproval of homosexual ‘marriages’ is somehow unconstitutional. What’s next, federal lawsuits against states with man-woman marriage laws and federal investigations of individuals who believe marriage is only for a man and a woman?”
