7/30/12: Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day on August 1

SAVECALIFORNIA.COM NEWS ADVISORY

Californians for real marriage to eat Wednesday at Chick-fil-A
Chick-fil-A is Ground Zero for man-woman marriage in California

Sacramento, California -- Californians who believe in the sacred and natural institution of marriage between one man and one woman will "vote with their dollars" in support of real marriage at Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Golden State on Wednesday, August 1.

"Ever since Mike Huckabee called on pro-marriage Americans to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Chick-fil-A on Wednesday to support owner Dan Cathy's championing of natural marriage between one man and one woman, Californians have been eager to 'vote with their dollars' to show that most voters still want marriage licenses for real marriage -- marriage between a man and a woman," said Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com, which promotes moral virtues for the common good.

SaveCalifornia.com has been urging pro-marriage citizens to make a statement by eating at Chick-fil-A on August 1, "Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day." While marriage between a man and a woman is natural and healthy, homosexuality, according to the evidence, is neither.

"Because homosexual activists have been demonstrating their intolerance and prejudice against Chick-fil-A and real marriage, supporters of the natural family are stepping up for man-woman marriage in a very public way by eating at Chick-fil-A," Thomasson said.

There are 52 Chick-fil-A restaurants in California. See locations
