Assembly Democrats pass intolerant, perverse sexual agenda
Bans counseling help for molested kids suffering from gender confusion, requires 'LGBT' indoctrination of foster parents, honors teen predator Harvey Milk, paves way for homosexual 'marriages'
Sacramento, California -- Veteran family issues organization SaveCalifornia.com is appalled at the intolerant, perverse sexual agenda of the majority Democrats in the California Legislature, which today sent bad bills to Governor Jerry Brown.
"Lack of love for molested children, trampling parents' rights, intolerance for religious foster parents, coddling unhealthy behavior of foster children, honoring a teen predator, and paving the way for homosexual 'marriages' -- this is what you get with Democrats in control" said Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com, which promotes more virtues for the common good.
SB 1172, approved late today on the Assembly floor, would prohibit parents from acquiring professional counseling to help a molested son or daughter heal from the gender confusion often resulting from childhood sexual abuse. SaveCalifornia.com fought against SB 1172 with Assembly floor alerts. SaveCalifornia.com President Randy Thomasson has issued the following statement:
"How dare these Democrat politicians deny essential care to children who've been raped or molested by a perpetrator. How dare the Democrats rob parents of their God-given right to pursue healing for their traumatized child. It is absolutely wrong to withhold emotional, mental, and physical help from a child who has been raped or molested, who, as a result of this physical, mental, and emotional exploitation, is confused about his or her sexual identity. Loving parents have the moral obligation to seek and find the best counseling they can to help their abused child embrace the truth that heals and reject the lies that harm. SB 1172 is a disgusting abuse of government that destroys parental rights and damages the very souls of sexually abused children.
"The data show environmental factors shape gender-identity confusion, rather than biological factors, given the absence of a homosexual genome. The professional counseling that an abused child receives is often the key to the child's recovery and overall mental health. Intolerant of people's beliefs and unloving to abused children, SB 1172 would lock traumatized boys and girls into a state of sexual exploitation, prohibiting loving parents from acquiring and paying for professional counseling to help heal their hurting child's heart and mind."
AB 1856, which the Assembly has also passed, forces foster parents to support the unnatural and unhealthy sexual behavior of abused children in foster care, by requiring foster parents to have so-called "cultural competency and sensitivity" in complete support of any homosexual, bisexual, or cross-dressing/"sex change" behavior of children in their care. "This bad bill tramples religious freedom, destroys moral sensitivities, and erases the differences between male and female in foster homes," Thomasson said. "If this burdensome bill is signed, the state will be telling prospective foster parents, 'Don't sign up.'"
The Assembly Democrats today also approved HR 41, which calls upon the U.S. Postmaster to authorize a commemorative stamp honoring teen predator and sexual anarchist Harvey Milk. "Harvey Milk repeatedly engaged in adult-child sex, advocated for multiple homosexual relationships at the same time, denied the unhealthy and deadly consequences of perverse behavior, and told a very public lie because he thought it would get him ahead," Thomasson said. "A dishonorable man like this should not be honored. To award a commemorative stamp to a sexual anarchist would be a disgrace."
SB 1140, which has received final passage in the Assembly, states that clergy members cannot be required to perform, and clergy and religious denominations cannot lose their tax status for not performing, "a marriage that is contrary to the tenets of his or her faith." "This bill is an unnecessary and deceptive ruse that attempts to pave the way for homosexual 'marriage' legalization in the future," Thomasson said. "Clergy members already have the First Amendment freedom to officiate or not for weddings. Republicans all voted no because they knew this deceitful bill is an attack on the Godly, natural institution of marriage between one man and one woman. And it's unknown what future harm the bill's declaration that marriage is 'not a religious' contract will do to people of faith."
Today's passage of anti-family bills by the Assembly Democrats comes one day after their passage of bills that redefine parenthood and weaken parental rights.
