Do these California Republicans deserve to win or lose?

and does not support or oppose candidates for public office.

When voting, do you have a minimum moral standard? For me, that minimum pro-family standard is the candidate must vote against murderous abortion, against the harmful “LGBT” agenda, for parental rights, and for religious freedom. I call these God’s non-negotiables.

But if your voting standard is “the lesser of two evils,” you can eventually vote for just about anything, right? Because “it’s all relative.”

My joke for professing Christians about the non-biblical “lesser of two evils” standard is to have them imagine a scenario where there are only two candidates: The Democrat candidate is the devil — and the Republican candidate is the Beast from the Book of Revelation. Professing Christians with a certain view of the end times, who have a lesser-of-two-evils voting standard, will justify voting for the Beast, saying, “He’ll give us three-and-a-half good years!” Listen to my SaveCalifornia.com Radio Minute on this

Now, all jokes aside, here’s something very important to think about this election:

If-ThenIf you support the sanctity of human life or oppose the unnatural, unhealthy, unbiblical, tyrannical homosexual-bisexual-transsexual agenda, ask yourself — will you support or oppose Republican candidates who oppose God’s non-negotiable values?

Joining nearly all the Democrats in the California State Legislature, 16 Republican legislators voted in 2015 to “celebrate” “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month”:

State Senator Anthony Cannella: Modesto-Merced-Fresno area stretching to Salinas and 101 strip on coast
State Senator Jeff Stone: Riverside County
Assemblyman Katcho Achadjian: All of San Luis Obispo County and north Santa Barbara County
Assemblywoman Catharine Baker: Walnut Creek-Danville-San Ramon-Dublin-Pleasanton-Livermore
Assemblywoman Ling Ling Chang: Chino Hills-Yorba Linda-Brea-La Habra-Walnut
Assemblyman Rocky Chávez: Northern coastal San Diego County
Assemblyman David Hadley: Los Angeles beach cities and south bay area
Assemblyman Matthew Harper: Coastal Orange County (Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods)
Assemblywoman Young Kim: Anaheim-Buena Park-Cypress-Fullerton-La Palma-Stanton
Assemblyman Tom Lackey: Lancaster-Palmdale area
Assemblyman Eric Linder: Corona-Eastvale-Jurupa Valley-Riverside
Assemblyman Brian Maienschein: Clairemont-Kearny Mesa-TierraSanta-Poway-Rancho Santa Fe
Assemblyman Devon Mathis: Tulare and Inyo counties
Assemblyman Chad Mayes: Yucaipa-Banning-Hemet-Morongo Valley-Yucca Valley-Twentynine Palms-Palm Springs-La Quinta
Assemblyman Marc Steinorth: Rancho Cucamonga-Redlands-Loma Linda-Highland-San Bernardino
Assemblyman Scott Wilk: Santa Clarita Valley and Simi Valley

pro-suicideAlso last year, 3 Assembly Republicans — Catharine Baker of Contra Costa County, David Hadley of the Los Angeles beach cities area, and Brian Maienschein of north San Diego and San Diego County — voted YES to make California a Suicide State via “physician-assisted suicide.”

smallbabyneedlesAnd who could forget last year’s vote to strip away parental rights and religious objections to controversial childhood vaccines that are a historically-high number of shots? Voting YES were 2 Assembly Republicans — Catherine Baker of Contra Costa County and Young Kim of Orange County — and 2 Senate Republicans Jeff Stone of Riverside County and Andy Vidak of Fresno, Kern, Kings and Tulare counties. 3pointedallgenderrestroomsignAnd then this year, 4 Assembly Republicans voted YES to tear down “men,” “women,” “boys” and “girls” signs and symbols from single-user restrooms statewide. They were Catherine Baker of Contra Costa County, Ling Ling Chang of Los Angeles County, Young Kim of Orange County, and Brian Maienschein of San Diego County. See the harm | See the vote

Please consider your own moral values. Will you vote for any California candidate — Democrat, Republican, or other — even if they attack your values? Something to think about as you prepare to vote June 7.

charlesfinney[T]he time has come that Christians must vote for honest men and take consistent ground in politics or the Lord will curse them. . . . Christians have been exceedingly guilty in this matter. But the time has come when they must act differently. . . . Christians seem to act as if they thought God did not see what they do in politics. But I tell you He does see it – and He will bless or curse this nation according to the course they [Christians] take [in politics]. The great American evangelist Charles Finney (1792-1875)

Correction from the Father of our Country

Monday, February 15, 2016, 12:42 pm | Randy Thomasson

Gilbert_Stuart_George_WashingtonA strong Christian, George Washington was first President of the United States (1789–97), the Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War, and one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. He presided over the convention that drafted the current United States Constitution and during his lifetime was called the “father of his country.”

In the midst of the American civil war between liberals and conservatives, the immoral and the moral, and now a new schism among Republicans dumbing down the meaning of “conservative,” the Father of our County has much to teach us about good government:

GOOD GOVERNMENT SPRINGS FROM THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION BASED ON THE BIBLE
“Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.”

SECOND TO THE BIBLE, THE WRITTEN WORDS AND ORIGINAL INTENT OF THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION IS THE SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND (NOT JUDGES)
“The Constitution is the guide which I never will abandon.”

THE PEOPLE (OR THE PEOPLE’S ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES) ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CAN AMEND THE CONSTITUTION (NOT JUDGES)
“The basis of our political system is the right of the people to make and to alter their constitutions of government.”

JUDGES THAT STRIKE DOWN THE PEOPLE’S WRITTEN LAWS ARE UNCONSTITUTIONAL THEMSELVES
“Laws made by common consent must not be trampled on by individuals.”

HAVING A STRONG (NOT IMMORAL) MILITARY IS THE BEST WAY TO AVOID WAR
“Discipline is the soul of an army. It makes small numbers formidable; procures success to the weak, and esteem to all. … To be prepared for war is one of the most effective means of preserving peace.”

THE MORAL SPLIT BETWEEN PARTIES MEANS WE ARE NO LONGER A CHRISTIAN NATION
“The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism.”

PRESERVING RELIGIOUS FREEDOM IS A TOP PRIORITY OF GOOD GOVERNMENT
“I beg you be persuaded that no one would be more zealous than myself to establish effectual barriers against the horrors of spiritual tyranny, and every species of religious persecution.”

FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS ANOTHER TOP PRIORITY
“If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.”

NO ELECTED OFFICIAL OR PUBLIC SERVICE SHOULD CUSS
“The foolish and wicked practice of profane cursing and swearing is a vice so mean and low that every person of sense and character detests and despises it.”

HONESTY IS A VIRTUE WE SHOULD DEMAND AND EXPECT IN ELECTED OFFICIALS
“I hope I shall possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of an honest man.”

A PUBLIC OFFICIAL MUST PROMOTE THE PUBLIC’S GOOD ABOVE HIS OWN
“I have no other view than to promote the public good, and am unambitious of honors not founded in the approbation of my Country.”

TRUE CHRISTIANITY DOES THE RIGHT THING IN GOVERNMENT
“I am persuaded, you will permit me to observe, that the path of true piety is so plain as to require but little political direction.”

A GODLESS PEOPLE CANNOT SHAPE OR MAINTAIN GOOD GOVERNMENT
“Mankind, when left to themselves, are unfit for their own government.”

Quotes of Founding Father George Washington, 1st U.S. President (1789–1797)

WashingtonFebruary22BannerWASHINGTON’S BIRTHDAY TIMELINE:
> February 1732 – George Washington is born. The Julian “old style” calendar, which was used at the time, marks his birth date as February 11.
> 1752 – The Gregorian “new style” calendar is adopted, putting Washington’s birthday on February 22.
> 1789-1797 – Washington’s birthday is celebrated on both days while he is president.
> 1885 – February 22 is designated as a federal holiday to honor Washington’s birthday.
> 1968 – Congress passes the Monday Holidays Act. Existing federal holidays will now be observed on Mondays, to give government workers three day weekends. After much debate, Congress rejects combining Washington’s and Lincoln’s into one Monday called “Presidents’ Day.” The bill goes into effect in 1971. Source
> The bill went into effect in 1971 and deemed that “Washington’s Birthday” would be moved from February 22 to the third Monday in February. Source

Stop thinking negative — conservatives can win!

I’ve been saying it for years — family values can WIN when moral conservatives outweigh liberal voters on election day!

Tuesday’s victories across the nation on Nov. 3, 2015:

  • The tyrannical homosexual-bisexual-transsexual Houston ordinance forcing its immoral agenda on small business owners and moral people was defeated by 61% of voters! This is a tremendous victory for religious freedom and for pastors “coming out of the closet”!
  • Matt Bevin has been elected Governor of Kentucky. My friend Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel describes Bevin as “an outspoken Christian, a strong businessman, politically conservative and Constitution based, pro-life, pro-faith, and pro-family.” Bevin came from behind to win by 9 points, making him the second Republican in 40 years to become Kentucky governor.
  • Ohioans voted down legalization of “recreational” marijuana and the deceptive “medicinal” marijuana too.
  • Voters in Portland, Maine protected jobs, the economy, and business owner rights by striking down a big increase to the government-imposed minimum wage.
  • Wise voters in Coos County, Oregon who realized that responsible gun owners are a great deterrent to would-be violent criminals won their 2nd Amendment rights back by authorizing their sheriff to ignore unconstitutional state and federal anti-gun laws.

FROM THE LIBERAL ACTIVIST PUBLICATION HUFFINGTON POST
Conservatives have a big night in local and state elections
One lesson for Democrats analyzing their losses: Many of the races suffered from low voter turnout and engagement, as off-year elections attract less attention. Traditionally, more Republicans turn out for midterm and off-year elections, giving them a built-in advantage.

Bottom line, Tuesday’s moral victories were a result of more conservatives deciding to vote and vote right, while liberals and the mushy middle were less energized. Elections are simple math. Whichever side turns out the most voters wins!

CaliPro-family Californians, learn from this! General voter turnout in California is at an all-time low because of corrupt government, bad teaching, and laziness. Therefore, if church-going folks and moral conservatives between San Diego and Yreka commit to vote next year and to urge other pro-family voters to get informed and vote righteously, similar wins can happen here!

Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is not making a present or a compliment to please an individual – or at least that he ought not so to do; but that he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country.
U.S. founding father Samuel Adams, in 1781

Consider well the important trust . . . which God . . . [has] put into your hands. . . . To God and posterity you are accountable for [your rights and your rulers]. . . . Let not your children have reason to curse you for giving up those rights and prostrating those institutions which your fathers delivered to you. . . . [L]ook well to the characters and qualifications of those you elect and raise to office and places of trust. . . . Think not that your interests will be safe in the hands of the weak and ignorant; or faithfully managed by the impious, the dissolute and the immoral. Think not that men who acknowledge not the providence of God nor regard His laws will be uncorrupt in office, firm in defense of the righteous cause against the oppressor, or resolutly oppose the torrent of iniquity. . . . Watch over your liberties and privileges – civil and religious – with a careful eye.
U.S. pastor Matthias Burnett, in 1803
