If you’ve been following SaveCalifornia.com, you know we don’t support or oppose candidates, but we boldly stand up for God’s applicable truth in our land.
So, in the presidential race between Republican candidates vying to become the party’s nominee, SaveCalifornia.com and our national arm, SaveAmerica.com, have done the best that we could. We carefully researched the records and actions of the candidates and provided The Report Card on the Natural Family to help voters everywhere.
Our unique and objective report card shows the presidential candidates’ real stands on 10 public policies related to family values and moral standards. It’s posted here at SaveCalifornia.com and here at SaveAmerica.com.
> See documentation and sources: Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum
Educating voters in South Carolina
On January 15 and 16, we faxed and emailed our Report Card on the candidates to around 10,000 pastors in the early voting states of South Carolina, Florida, Nevada, Maine, Colorado, and Minnesota.
On January 19, we emailed our Report Card to 275,000 conservative business folks in South Carolina. That same day, American Family Association emailed and messaged our Report Card on the Natural Family to around 500,000 conservatives in South Carolina.
“Randy Thomasson and his organizations SaveCalifornia.com and SaveAmerica.com are doing everyone in the nation a Godly service by providing the unadulterated and clear and documented evidence of the actual public policy positions of the Republican candidates on family values,” said Steve Baldwin, former California state assemblyman (1994-2000) and former executive director of the Council on National Policy (2001-2009). “While not all candidates tell the truth, the Report Card on the Natural Family certainly does. Randy and his team are helping many people discern between truth and lies, between facts and hearsay on where the candidates really stand on these important issues for the future of our culture.”
> Help SaveCalifornia.com send our Report Card to more people in early voting states
A top Christian-values news site, OneNewsNow.com, saw the significance of our report card and did two stories introducing it to people in every state. Here’s the Jan. 20 story:
Get the facts
A Christian leader in California is calling voters to awaken to the facts of how the Republican presidential candidates stand on family values.
Leading up to the South Carolina primary on Saturday, Newt Gingrich asked his opponents Rick Santorum and Rick Perry to drop out of the race, arguing that he is the only conservative who can beat Mitt Romney. On Thursday morning, Perry did just that, throwing his support behind the former House speaker.
Randy Thomasson of SaveAmerica.com believes Gingrich is spot on. “He’s correct that if there is a leading moderate in a campaign in a largely conservative state and three conservatives are splitting the conservative voters apart, the moderate could win,” he says, referring to Mitt Romney as “the moderate.”
Citing the history of the past three decades, Thomasson notes that the Republican candidate who wins the South Carolina primary has ended up being the Republican nominee for president — so he is urging voters to know how the candidates stand on moral issues.
“Of the … Republicans still in the race, Romney is far and above the most against the ten family values and moral standards in the report card on the natural family,” says the family advocate. “He’s supportive of homosexuals adopting children, open homosexuality in the Boy Scouts and in the U.S. military, and … continues to support pro-LGBT education.”
Thomasson asserts that Republican hopeful Ron Paul is a “mixed bag” of family values, who does not oppose homosexual relationships and wants to eliminate official marriage licenses. Gingrich and Santorum are relatively equal on family values, Thomasson says, and are strong supporters of the natural family.
The pro-family leader asserts the facts were against Governor Rick Perry. “[He] would have been right up there with Gingrich and Santorum if he had not signed a homosexual, bisexual, transsexual ‘hate crimes’ law in 2001; and … had pledged to enforce federal laws against obscenity like the other two had.”
See the Report Card on the Natural Family at SaveCalifornia.com and SaveAmerica.com. SaveCalifornia.com and SaveAmerica.com provide the above information solely for educational purposes and do not support or oppose candidates for public office.

Have you heard about abortionist Steven Chase Brigham? Last summer, Brigham — who “operates” in four states, including Maryland, and who has killed hundreds of preborn babies in the womb, most of them late-term — was charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of five viable, healthy babies. These were “botched” abortions where the baby still lived. And Maryland’s “viable fetus” law means that when these babies survived outside the womb, Brigham committed infanticide.
Remind yourself of babies in the womb by seeing these amazing photos
As LifeNews.com reported on January 11 this year:
Brigham operated a secret late-term abortion clinic in Elkton, Maryland, even though he had no license to practice in that state. He hired Riley to do late-term abortions there and at his abortion clinic in Baltimore. Brigham would start the late-term abortions at his office in New Jersey, then caravan the laboring women to Elkton where the abortions would be completed. The clandestine abortion scheme was discovered after a woman suffered a life-threatening botched abortion in August, 2010. When police raided the Elkton abortion clinic, they discovered the remains of 35 aborted babies, one of which was 33 weeks gestation.
OR president Troy Newman provided more details about what was found. “Violations found during an inspection that took place on May 26, 2011, discovered out-of-date medicine, metal instruments with a brown material in the hinges and inside the supposedly sterile packaging, surgical instruments tossed in unsterilized drawers, and surgical instruments stored in a ‘musty’ smelling suitcase in broken wrappers – all of which were considered by employees to be ready for use on patients,” Newman said. “Also discovered was a freezer where ‘Infectious Waste,’ (the remains of aborted babies), was stored that was smeared with what an employee acknowledged was blood and contained a thick layer of frozen blood in the bottom.”
Don’t look away. For, as evil and gruesome as this “Dr. Death” is, the decision to kill their babies by abortion was first made by pregnant women and teenage girls. They believed the death of a little baby was acceptable and preferable.
What if you were that baby? Wouldn’t you want your mother to change her mind? What if you were being threatened in your home by a dangerous criminal waving scissors at you? Wouldn’t you want the police to burst in and save your life?
This is the desperate sense of urgency you and all people with intact consciences must have. Realize that nearly 58 million babies in America have been killed by abortion since the Roe v. Wade ruling on January 22, 1973. That’s 1 of 6 Americans and 1 of 3 young people born since this unconstitutional edict. All dead through the torture of abortion.
This is truly a matter of life and death, for babies are being aborted every day. They all have a beating heart, brain waves, developing organs, and can feel great pain like you can.
This is why you must get uncomfortable, cancel your other plans if possible, and challenge yourself to spend some time this week to love defenseless, voiceless babies. Love is a choice. Love is an action.
Be their Voice. Be their Defender. Be the Conscience of our land. Stand up today and Saturday. March in San Francisco or participate in a pro-life event near you:

Liberal newspapers like the San Francisco Chronicle are serving as mouthpieces for Governor Jerry Brown, the Democrat politicians, and the government union bosses. Together, they’re claiming only “two choices” in solving California’s state budget mess (created by Democrat state legislators, who have controlled the State Legislature for more than 40 years now).
Writes the Chronicle, “Gov. Jerry Brown’s budget plan released last week poses a stark choice for Californians: approve a five-year $35 billion tax increase in November or watch the hatchet drop on public school funding – with cuts so deep the school year could be shortened by almost a month.”
But no, there aren’t just two choices. The third way to solve the chronic state budget mess is to eliminate TENS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN ANNUAL WASTE, as outlined in SaveCalifornia.com’s Waste Report.
Remember, most of the time, a “temporary tax” isn’t temporary. People get used to it, the bureaucracy says they will always need it, and liberal politicians say they will hurt you with service cuts unless you extend the tax.
And a higher tax bite upon the wealthy means they, as the most mobile of all Americans, can easily move just across the border to Nevada or Arizona, leaving the State of California with less revenue than before.
Finally, “taxing the rich” means punishing job creators. This is exactly opposite of what our Founding Fathers wanted, and means socialism further tramples free enterprise and government dependency replaces the work ethic.
So you see, there is no “need” to raise taxes in California, which would do more harm to family finances, job creation and sustaining, and the economy as a whole.
ACTION: Please plan to vote NO on Jerry Brown’s tax hikes, should he gather enough signatures to qualify his initiative for the November ballot. But right now, use our 2-page printable report to inform your friends and neighbors that TENS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN ANNUAL WASTE should be eliminated instead.
When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples,
“Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.”
