This California judge is wrong!
Because federal law REQUIRES states to keep voter registration data ACCURATE and CURRENT, and the federal government has jurisdiction to enforce the National Voter Registration Act (commonly known as the “motor voter law”).
I expect this unconstitutional, anti-election-accuracy opinion of Democrat Party U.S. Judge David O. Carter to eventually reach the U.S. Supreme Court for an easy ruling in favor of the Trump Administration’s and Judicial Watch’s efforts to examine the voter rolls and then require that illegals, dead people, and people who’ve moved be removed.
It’s a good start that the Trump Administration is fighting to get illegal aliens off the voter rolls. While we need the DOJ to do a full-scale investigation to expose California election fraud, it’s important and helpful that they’re demanding voter registration data from 40 states, and suing Democrat-Party-run states, including California.
Here’s the judge’s biased blatherings reported on Yahoo News:
A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a U.S. Justice Department lawsuit demanding California turn over its voter rolls, calling the request “unprecedented and illegal” and accusing the federal government of trying to “abridge the right of many Americans to cast their ballots.”
U.S. District Judge David O. Carter, a Clinton appointee based in Santa Ana, questioned the Justice Department’s motivations and called its lawsuit demanding voter data from California Secretary of State Shirley Weber not just an overreach into state-run elections, but a threat to American democracy.
“The centralization of this information by the federal government would have a chilling effect on voter registration which would inevitably lead to decreasing voter turnout as voters fear that their information is being used for some inappropriate or unlawful purpose,” Carter wrote. “This risk threatens the right to vote which is the cornerstone of American democracy.”
52 U.S.C. § 20507 … requires procedures to maintain accurate and current voter registration lists. These requirements govern, among other issues:
The date by which valid voter registration applications must be accepted and eligible persons registered,
Changes in a registrant’s address information,
Limits on removal of names from the voter registration list, and
Administration of a uniform, nondiscriminatory voter registration list maintenance program that complies with the Voting Rights Act (VRA”).
Other recent news on this initial battle to combat fraud by cleaning the voter rolls:
Jan 12: “Voter fraud alarm: 449,000 non-citizens reportedly excused from jury duty in California, raising red flags on voter rolls”
In a state already notorious for its lax election laws and ballooning non-citizen population, a resurfaced claim is reigniting fierce debate over voter integrity: Did nearly half a million Californians dodge jury duty by admitting they aren’t U.S. citizens—while somehow remaining on the voter registration lists?
The allegation, which has circulated for years but gained fresh traction on social media this weekend, points to a potential massive loophole in California’s “Motor Voter” system, where DMV interactions automatically register eligible voters but, critics argue, fail to weed out the ineligible.
The claim traces back to data from California’s Judicial Council, which reported around 449,000 individuals disqualified from jury service in a single fiscal year due to non-citizen status. Proponents of the narrative assert these same people were pulled from voter rolls for jury pools, exposing widespread non-citizen registration.
“This is how OUT OF CONTROL California is,” blasted conservative influencer Mila Joy in a viral X post that garnered over 36,000 likes and millions of views. “449,000 REGISTERED VOTERS couldn’t perform jury duty because they weren’t citizens. But they are REGISTERED VOTERS! A half a million of them.”
Jan 9: “Oregon election officials to begin purging rolls of inactive voters”
As Oregon kicks off a general election year, Secretary of State Tobias Read is taking what he says is the overdue step of cleaning up the state’s voter rolls. That process could lead to the cancellation of as many as 800,000 registrations … Oregon currently has 3,063,747 registered, active voters. About 800,000 more voters’ registration status is inactive because their mail, including ballots or official notices, from county elections offices has been returned undelivered.
Jan 6: “DOJ sues Arizona, Connecticut for refusing to hand over voter rolls”
The Justice Department has sued Arizona and Connecticut for refusing to hand over their full voter registration lists, making them the 22nd and 23rd states to be targeted by the Trump administration in its litigious campaign over voter data ahead of the midterm elections.
The lawsuits were filed Tuesday, with Attorney General Pam Bondi arguing she is charged by Congress to ensure that states have proper and effective voter registration and voter list maintenance programs.
She also threatened that she has the Civil Rights Act of 1960 to demand the statewide voter registration lists.
“Accurate voter rolls are the foundation of election integrity, and any state that fails to meet this basic obligation of transparency can expect to see us in court,” she said in a statement.
The Justice Department has sent demands for the voter registration rolls to at least 40 states and the District of Columbia, according to the Brennan Center for Justice.
And offshore oil drilling is better than ever, with these significant improvements required by the U.S. government since October 2011, which have proven effective in preventing large spills:
Sturdier wells
Improved blowout protectors
Robotic subs on every oil rig
Improved preparedness for future blowouts
Improved technology for tracking and controlling released oil
“Offshore oil drilling could begin in Southern California for the first time in decades, due to a proposal from the Trump administration to open federal waters off the entire state coastline.
“Drilling in the Pacific Ocean could begin as soon as 2027 off Southern and Central California — and in 2029 off Northern California — if President Donald Trump’s offshore plan moves forward. But many state leaders and residents are already mobilizing in opposition.
“Offshore operations supply about 15 percent of the nation’s domestic oil, according to the Department of the Interior. Federal estimates indicate the Outer Continental Shelf still holds roughly 68.8 billion barrels of undiscovered oil and 229 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.
“Environmental groups in California have been outspoken in their opposition, but the American Petroleum Institute and other leading oil and gas associations backed reviewing new Outer Continental Shelf leasing areas in a June letter.
“In 2050, as is the case today, more than half of U.S. demand is expected to be met by oil and natural gas,” they wrote. “Continuous exploration and drilling will be needed to meet these expectations.”
NOTE: New oil pumped offshore (federal jurisdiction) would likely have to be shipped to non-California refineries, since California’s Democrat Party politicians are expected to continue to block pipelines and trucks on “their land.”
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” The Bible, Genesis 1:26-28

DEC. 12, 2025 UPDATE: Here’s the “official” vote on Prop. 50, as announced Dec. 12 by the California Secretary of State: YES 64.4%, NO 35.6%.
Are most Californians — getting dumber or more foolish or more sinful, or all three?
The latest count of California’s vote on the unfair, unjust, racist, corrupt Proposition 50 is 63.9% yes and 36.1% no.
Yet demonstrating the unreliability of “moderates” and too many registered “Republicans,” eight California counties won by Donald Trump just one year ago “flipped” by voting YES on Prop. 50 this year. Why did this happen?
First of all, the evidence is that most California voters (Democrats and independents) believed a barrage of lying ads. They therefore foolishly and illogically justified California’s biased redistricting in response to Texas’ fair redistricting. So they were energized to turn out in greater numbers than in an “average” special election.
Second, the evidence is that Republican turnout was weak, even anemic. It’s estimated that only one-third of California Republicans voted in the Prop. 50 statewide special election. Does this mean most Republicans were confused or cynical (so they didn’t vote), or were they lazy or unloving, or all of the above?
Of California’s 5.8 million registered Republicans, only an estimated 1.8 million had mailed in their ballots by Nov. 3. One year ago, more than 6 million Californians voted for the Republican presidential ticket of Donald Trump and J.D. Vance. Yet this election, only 3.2 million Californians voted NO on the unfair, corrupt Prop. 50 (as of the count on Nov. 6 @ 8:45 p.m).
Compare the unadmirable Republican voter turnout of this month to California’s 2009 statewide special election, which had 5 liberal statewide propositions on the ballot. In May 2009, it was a 28.40% low voter turnout (with conservatives surging to defeat the big-government propositions by an average of 65% voting no). Yet in the just-concluded statewide special election on the unfair, corrupt Prop. 50, the overall turnout was about 36%, with the NO side supplying just over a third of the votes.
It’s a harsh truth that if all the Californians who voted to elect Donald Trump in 2024 (they officially numbered 6,081,697) had “stayed the course” and voted no on Prop. 50 just one year later, Prop. 50, with about 5.3 million YES votes, would have been defeated by a greater number of NO votes.
Where were all the Republicans? It didn’t help that too many falsely believed that:
* President Trump is hurting the economy with his tariffs (he’s not) * Texas getting rid of race-based districts was unfair (it wasn’t) * Democrat Party media ads can be trusted (they can’t) * The unfair, lying Yes on Prop. 50 were true (see how they outspent the No side) * Their votes don’t matter due to election fraud (they forgot they can still win in CA)
What can we conclude from most California Republicans not voting this election, when wiping out Republican congressional districts was on the ballot?
From the Bible and experience, I know that selfishness is natural (newborn babies are 100% selfish) and that sacrificial and faithful love must be learned, and is therefore rare (which is why too many people are unfair and unjust in their hearts).
What’s more, I believe too many people have become “Republican” without knowing what it means. For these “barely Republican” Californians are not grounded, but are weak on history, fairness, and biblical love for neighbor.
Yes, they were likely “triggered” by certain issues into becoming a Republican. Yet their conservative ideals are not their default character, which is therefore not reliable, but “spotty,” so most “sat out” this special election. The math of Republicans not voting shows why Prop. 50 was approved, not defeated.
The rarity of love means biblical Christians and other faith-based conservatives, who believe voting is obedience to God and love for neighbor, are the most dependable voters.
May the failure to seize this special election opportunity serve as a correction to conservatives and Republicans everywhere. For be a good citizen, you must study the issues and vote right in God’s sight and encourage others to do the same. And this is obeying Jesus Christ, Who commanded His disciples to “love your neighbor as yourself.“
Can Prop. 50 and election fraud be stopped?
It’s awful that Prop. 50 passed. Yet realize that, in next year’s congressional elections, Prop. 50 won’t likely flip the U.S. House, because of red states’ mid-census redistricting.
The federal lawsuit alleges Prop. 50 violates the 14th and 15th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution. The most likely chance of 5 or 6 SCOTUS judges agreeing would be the 15th Amendment’s prohibition of limiting or denying voters’ rights based on color or race.
It’s hard to reverse Prop. 50 because SCOTUS reaffirmed in 1997 that, according to Article 1, Section 1, individual states can prescribe regulations governing the Times, Places and Manner of holding elections; however, “Congress may at any time make or alter such Regulations.”
Therefore, if Congress were to approve a quick bill to eliminate Prop. 50, it could; however, such a law might also have to eliminate other states’ mid-census redistricting.
While President Trump probably CAN’T ban “all mail-in ballots,” we at SaveCalifornia.com believe he CAN stop illegal aliens from voting, and not just in California, but in all 50 states.
For it’s likely the U.S. Supreme Court would uphold a “citizens only” voting standard. More
Trump’s full statement on his 11/4/25 Truth Social post: “The Unconstitutional Redistricting Vote in California is a GIANT SCAM in that the entire process, in particular the Voting itself, is RIGGED. All “Mail-In” Ballots, where the Republicans in that State are “Shut Out,” is under very serious legal and criminal review. STAY TUNED!“
In response, the press office of California’s Big Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom tweeted a cartoon of “Baby Trump” crying outside the White House and stating, “Live look at Trump this morning, whining about California.”
