You can overcome pro-abortion lies with pro-life facts

Wednesday, January 23, 2019, 9:05 am | Randy Thomasson

In California, the most dangerous place for a child is in his or her mother’s womb. Ironically, you’re safer as a convicted murderer on “death row” in San Quentin, because our Democrat-controlled State will pay to feed, clothe, and protect you there, but will pay to literally tear you apart in the God-designed sanctuary of your mother’s womb.

The state’s self-appointed guardian of abortion is the California Supreme Court. In 1981, the state high court redefined the California Constitution’s guarantee of paperwork privacy to mean “abortion,” and redefined “medical care” to include “abortion,” coldly declaring that “the asserted state interest in protecting fetal life cannot constitutionally claim priority over the woman’s fundamental right of procreative choice.”

In other words, no matter a girl or woman’s age, ability to pay, or number of prior abortions, the State of California will spend your taxpayer dollars to kill unwanted, preborn babies. If that wasn’t clear enough, the California Supreme Court, in 1997, struck down the parental consent for abortion law passed by the State Legislature by declaring that it violated the California Constitution’s right to “privacy.” Again, a green light to “privately” murder the smallest human beings!

Because the Liberal Left and the state bureaucracy is trying so hard to hide the truth about the humanity of babies in the womb, you have power when you expose the lie. Please see and share these pro-life facts:

What the Incarnation of Christ means to you

Monday, December 24, 2018, 5:27 pm | Randy Thomasson

A couple weeks ago, I had a very busy day of working and driving. So…I went to a fast-food drive-through. When asked the obligatory “How are you?” I answered honestly in order to start a conversation. “I’m celebrating the Incarnation of Jesus Christ,” I said.

Curious, the young man at the window asked, “Is that like reincarnation?” I said, “No, reincarnation is a lie. The Incarnation of Jesus Christ is how God became a Man, born to die for your sins and mine.” We talked more, I gave him dollars, and he gave me “food.”

The Incarnation of Jesus Christ matters because it’s the very foundation of the Gospel, and the whole reason for salvation, Christmas, and Easter.

It all starts with the Virgin Birth, recorded in Matthew and Luke. A teenage girl from Nazareth, named Mary, was impregnated by the Holy Spirit. That meant Jesus’ “dad” was Father God, not Joseph.

The Gospel of John informs us, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” That’s where we get the word “incarnation.” The Incarnation of Christ means that Jesus, the Second Person of the Trinity, came to earth to become human.

This supernatural event was necessary in order for Jesus Christ to provide Himself as a substitutionary atonement for our sins. The God-Man was taking the penalty of death upon Himself in the stead of any and every person who places his faith in the shed blood and finished work of Jesus on the Cross. What an amazing, spiritual covenant!

Stop and think about it. Only a Man who was also “God in the flesh” could forgive anyone who confessed and repented of their sins and trusted in Him — including people worldwide who had never met Him and people not yet born. Talk about supernatural power and love!

So rejoice in the Incarnation of Christ. It was the only way for God to wash away the sins of true believers. And it’s ample reason to bask in the wonder of Jesus this Christmas.

JOYous CHRISTmas to you — in your mind, in your heart, and in your soul. And thank you for standing with SaveCalifornia.com, as together, we represent the best values the world has ever known.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.”

At the State Capitol protesting the tyrannical AB 2943

Tuesday, June 12, 2018, 7:23 pm | Randy Thomasson

It was great to see several hundred people who came to California’s State Capitol on June 12 to protest AB 2943. It was another rare opportunity for people of faith to see the evil of the Democrat-dominated State Legislature, and to exercise their love for others.

As you know, the tyrannical AB 2943, authored by perverse Democrats, would prohibit counseling for anyone who wants out of homosexuality or transsexuality, and would threaten religious entities if they sold a book or DVD or tickets to an event about helping people escape out of the sexual bondage of homosexuality or transsexuality.

In committee, I stood in a long line of opponents to AB 2943 and told the committee and the bill’s main author, homosexual activist Democrat Evan Low, that “We oppose this bill that discriminates against and denies ‘LGBT’ people’s personal rights to seek self-improvement.”

Earlier, I had given a powerful article to the two Republican senators on the committee, through their staffers and the sergeant-at-arms. The article is called 4 Reasons Even Liberals Should Oppose California’s Gay Therapy Ban. On a post-it note to the two senators, I asked them to hand the article to the five Democrats who sit with them on the committee.

What’s more, in a news advisory prior to the hearing, I told the media that “AB 2943 unfairly discriminates against gays and lesbians whose ‘sexual orientation’ is ‘fluid’ and who want a difference in their lives. Don’t deny people their basic right to choose self-improvement. AB 2943 is anti-choice, anti-free speech, and anti-religious freedom. Every liberty-loving person should oppose this un-American bill.”

At the same time AB 2943 was being heard, so was another horrible bill from the Democrats. SB 320 would require CSU and UC campuses to issue abortion pills to young women (hurting the woman and killing the baby). I joined others who spoke out, saying, “SB 320 lacks medical safeguards for inducing chemical abortions, which often involve negative side effects. This bill is pushing an unfunded liability upon our state colleges and universities.”

Now for the bottom line. I believe these awful Democrat bills, and their other bad bills, have a very high chance of passing the Democrat-controlled California Legislature and going to Governor Jerry Brown. The Democrat legislators don’t care how many people oppose the tyrannical “LGBT” agenda — because they support it. And the Democrats don’t care how many people oppose abortion — because they love it.

Therefore, one of the very best things you can do this election season is to tell your friends what the Democrat politicians are doing. Open their eyes, and you may end up changing their votes.

If AB 2943 is signed into law, there need to be well-crafted lawsuits to overturn it in federal court as the unconstitutional beast that it is. And if SB 320 becomes law, it’ll be yet another reason to keep your impressionable daughters out of CSU and UC — otherwise they could be handed dangerous abortion pills.

Yes, we must be faithful and we must try at every opportunity to defeat evil. If you wish, please leave a message for Jerry Brown. In two separate calls, urge him to veto AB 2943 and SB 320. You can call (916) 445-2841 Monday through Friday, 9 to 5.

but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.”
