Your phone calls made an impact, but Republican assemblymembers failed us

Sunday, May 29, 2022, 5:07 pm | Randy Thomasson

Memorial Day (originally Decoration Day remembering Civil War dead) honors men who gave the “ultimate sacrifice” for our country. But which “good” politicians sacrifice for you?

I know from the Bible that true love a) gives b) what God approves, and c) sometimes to our own hurt. As Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world and God in the flesh, taught in the Parable of the Good Samaritan, and in John 15:13, when He said, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends,” the greatest love is sacrificial.

What if sacrificial love were the norm for true Christians? For true love plus active repentance of personal sin is the spiritual recipe for healing our land.

On this theme of virtuous love, if you followed SaveCalifornia.com’s lead and made phone calls against the medical tyranny bills and infanticide bill on the Assembly floor, I thank you for making a noticeable impact.

Remember, for nearly two weeks, we targeted 28 (and near the end, 30) deciding votes (29 Democrats and 1 “independent”) with a flood of phone calls. What’s more, all of them, including all 19 Republicans, received at their State Capitol offices the facts of these awful bills: AB 2098 | AB 1797 | AB 2223.

Yet even without these Republicans speaking against these bills on the floor (they were silent and didn’t fight for us at all — see the passage of AB 2223), together, we pulled off more than a dozen Democrats. This was your admirable impact — thank you for giving us a real chance. But sadly, none of the 19 Republicans tried to defeat these bad bills!

See how close we got on the Assembly floor, where 41 “yes” votes pass bills:

On AB 1797 to segregate Californians in a “Covid vaccine” database, 1 Democrat voted no and 16 Democrats abstained or did not vote (two were absent), so AB 1797 initially passed by just 2 votes (abstaining Republicans later changed their votes to “no”).

On AB 2223 to prohibit law enforcement from investigating infant deaths, thus permitting infanticide, 1 Democrat voted no, independent” Chad Mayes voted no, and 13 Democrats abstained or did not vote (two were absent), so AB 2223 initially passed by just 4 votes (an abstaining Republican later changed his vote to “no”).

On AB 2098 to revoke the licenses of doctors that counsel patients against the “Covid vaccine,” 13 Democrats and “independent” Chad Mayes abstained or did not vote (two were absent), so AB 2098 initially passed by just 5 votes (abstaining Republicans later changed their votes to “no”).

Again, these atrocious bills passed because all 19 Assembly Republicans didn’t fight for us. From all my years in Sacramento, I know the impact of even one Republican strongly opposing a bad bill on the Assembly floor will put questions and fear into targeted Democrats’ minds, triggering abstentions. If even a couple of Republicans had raised their mics to expose AB 2098, AB 1797, and AB 2223, we could have won!

So don’t blame Creator God or “fate” — blame evil Democrats and unloving Republicans. Which is why voting this primary election is so important. In many legislative districts, you can choose what kind of Republican you want representing you. And I encourage you to vote and help your friends vote for moral constitutionalists who will fight for you!

Lastly, I want to tell you that SaveCalifornia.com tries hard to select battles we can win. Like General George Washington, who avoided battles he knew he would lose, we’ll only ask you to make phone calls when there’s a plausible opportunity to change votes.

Which is why SaveCalifornia.com steadfastly opposes SB 866, which would lower the age of “consent” for vaccines down to age 12. The next battle over this anti-family bill is Wednesday, June 1 @ 8:30am in the Assembly Judiciary Committee. This fight is especially worth it because one of the Republican committee members has implied he’ll speak and fight against SB 866. So please participate!

“Who, then, of these three, seems to you to have become neighbor of him who fell among the robbers?” And he said, “He who did the kindness with him,” then Jesus said to him, “Be going on, and you be doing in like manner.”
Luke 10:36-37

“…if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Dems’ anti-parent bill fails by 1 vote, then passes by 1 vote

Thursday, May 12, 2022, 12:35 pm | Randy Thomasson

May 29, 2022 update: The blatantly anti-family bill, SB 866, which would lower the age of “consent” to age 12 for any and all vaccines, pushing parents completely out of the picture, is scheduled for a Wednesday, June 1 8:30am hearing. Please call the members of the Assembly Judiciary Committee to urge them to “Oppose the anti-parent bill, SB 866.” And if you’re within driving distance of Sacramento, please try to attend and speak at the hearing in Room 447 of the State Capitol Building. Thank you!

Good news — SB 866, eliminating parental rights and informed consent for teen and pre-teen “shots” — has been severely wounded on the Senate floor.

Like its May 5 emergency committee hearing, SB 866 was hurried to a May 12 Senate floor vote because your Democrat rulers know their medical tyranny agenda is in trouble.

After 4 Democrat senators stood and spoke lies, and 4 Republican senators stood and spoke truth, the vote was taken. And it was so close, it was nearly historic!

Remember, the California State Senate has 40 members, so a majority vote to pass bills requires 21 votes. Achieving this is usually easy for the New Communist Democrats, who hold 31 seats, while Republicans hold only nine seats.

However, since parental rights is a “swing issue,” and since Covid has burned itself out, and because of the mini-flood of opposition phone calls to the deciding votes, and because this is an election year, the first vote was 20 yes, 7 no, and 12 abstentions. The bill was failing by one vote! But then the announcement came: “Call the absent members”; a minute later, an arm was twisted, and Democrat Monique Limón of Santa Barbara switched from abstaining to voting yes to supply the 21st vote to pass this “dog of a bill.”

Now, winning by 1 vote only to lose by 1 vote is still good news — because so many Senate Democrats abstaining on SB 866 means even more Assembly Democrats won’t touch this anti-parent bill.

This fact — plus excellent speaking on the floor by pro-family Republicans Jim Nielsen, Andreas Borgeas, Melissa Melendez, and Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh — means SB 866 is in deep trouble on the State Assembly floor (where it will likely arrive this summer).

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Senate floor alert. Now please call the Assembly floor to oppose medical tyranny and infanticide bills. Fighting these three Assembly bills now will give us a better chance to defeat SB 866 this summer.

ASSEMBLY FLOOR ALERT: Call against medical tyranny

Thursday, April 14, 2022, 5:12 pm | Randy Thomasson

Scroll down for the Assembly deciding votes, and call them!

May 13 update: SB 1390 (Pan) and SB 1464 (Pan) are dead and have been removed from the call script

Of the several Covid medical tyranny bills SaveCalifornia.com is tracking, we believe some, most, or all of them can be defeated on the Assembly floor. Because even if the older, crustier, wealthier, more isolated-from-reality State Senate — with an even higher ratio of Democrats than in the lower house — passes a Covid tyranny bill, it can still be defeated on Assembly floor. And fight them we will, for the sake of our God-given liberties!

On April 14, good news that another medical tyranny bill is dead. SB 871 to require mandatory “Covid vaccine” shots for all schoolchildren has been pulled by its author. Thank you to everyone who urged the Democrats on the State Senate Health Committee to oppose SB 871. As the virus burns out, enough of these Dems got worried about burning up parents!

Yet there are still several other bills stamping out medical freedom that are advancing. Below are the names and telephone numbers of 28 Assembly targets. These are 27 Democrat assemblymembers and 1 independent member, who are either termed-out, new and untested, running in a new district, running in a formerly Republican district, or who have a history of sometimes abstaining on the most radical Democrat bills.

Again, here’s the math: If none of the Assembly’s 19 Republicans and 1 independent (former Republican Chad Mayes) vote for medical tyranny, and if 19 of the current 59 Democrats abstain or vote no, these bad bills will be defeated.

Instructions for calling

Unless you see your own assemblymember on this list below, please call only during non-business hours (8pm to 8am and weekends) and remain anonymous. The reason is so your calls will have impact and not be “trashed” (the Democrat legislators’ M.O. is to disregard every message not from their own constituents). By leaving anonymous voicemails only, the offices cannot reliably “trash” your calls, and you’ll “mix” in and be part of the flood of opposition calls.

Leave a strong voicemail message against ALL medical tyranny bills. Use your own words or our suggested message, such as: “Oppose all ‘Covid’ bills. The CDC isn’t even tracking the very mild variants after Omicron. And the ‘Covid vaccines’ are obsolete since they weren’t designed for variants, and they don’t prevent infection or transmission. End the mandates. Protect our basic human right of bodily autonomy. Stop these unnecessary, invasive ‘Covid vaccine,’ testing, and tracking bills. Oppose AB 1797, AB 2098, SB 866, SB 1018, and SB 1479.”

If you’re calling your own assemblymember, you should call during business hours, and identify yourself as living in his or her legislative district.

Science, at its best, is a search for existential truth. Sometimes, however, those truths threaten powerful economic paradigms. Both science and democracy rely on the free flow of accurate information. Greedy corporations and captive government regulators have consistently shown themselves willing to twist, distort, falsify, and corrupt science, hide information, and censor open debate to protect personal power and corporate profits. Censorship is the fatal enemy of both democracy and public health.Dr. Judy Mikovits and Kent Heckenlively in “Plague of Corruption: Restoring Faith in the Promise of Science” (2020)
