‘LGBT’ activists push aside “mother” and “father” on birth certificates

Homosexual activists in California are marking Mother’s Day with the passage of a bill replacing “mother” and “father” on birth certificates with “parent.”

This bad bill sponsored by “Equality California” permits one or more homosexuals to falsely claim the role of biological parent when they are not the biological father or mother of the child, and a surrogate mother or a sperm donor has been used to create “same-sex families.”

If this fib passes the Democrat-controlled California Legislature and is signed by Gov. Jerry Brown, California birth certificates will no longer prominently list the father and mother or a child. And the lie will spread that homosexuals can procreate and have families, when they can’t because of God’s unchanging laws of Nature.

Yet only a biological father or a biological mother — or a father and/or mother legally adopting children — are PARENTS. Two men or two women (and wait for three or more legal “parents”) are UNREAL parents if they claim that title. People can claim the sky is not blue or that we don’t breathe air or you don’t need a father and a mother to conceive a child, but none are true whatsoever.

Voting for AB 1951 on the Assembly floor were nearly all the Democrats, along with Republicans Rocky Chávez of Carlsbad, Brian Maienschein of San Diego, and Brian Nestande of Palm Desert.

You may think you know how to make a baby. But do you really understand all of the intricate details? Sure, you’ve got the basics covered — man meets woman, they both get naked and have sex, and nine months later, out pops Junior. But there’s a lot more to it than that, not to mention a host of modern variations on that theme. For instance, do you know exactly where sperm and eggs come from, or how these two microscopic miracle-makers find each other and create a new life?

Criminal Democrats

I’m not a Democrat or a Republican, but a political independent.

Yet in my 20 years of pro-family work in California, I’ve never seen anything like this. Inflated Democrat control of the State Legislature + Democrat lawmakers being led away in handcuffs = the potential for Democrat seats being lost this election year.

Partisan Democrats like Jerry Brown are worried, but what’s the reaction of average voters? Will they say “Those politicians!” or will they regret voting for Democrats, period?

Most Californians don’t realize that Democrats have been in virtual control of the California Legislature for more than a half century. And I’ve found most Californians don’t seem to know that Democrat politicians are sexually indoctrinating children, making taxpayers fund all kinds of abortions, dumbing-down education, and responsible for many price increases due to a mountain of taxes, fees, and regulations.

But voters tend to wake up in an election year, and they’re sensitized to bad things that they clearly understand are bad.

So, when the FBI and juries say three California Democrat state senators are criminals, that’s likely to turn away some voters from voting for Democrats. Jerry Brown and his Democrat colleagues know this — which is why they’ve suspended (with pay) these three Democrats who are accused of corruption, bribery, fraud, illegal gun-running and more:

Number 1. Democrat state senator Rod Wright of Los Angeles County: In January, Wright was found guilty by a jury on two counts of perjury, one count of filing a false declaration of candidacy and five counts of fraudulent voting…all felonies.

Number 2. Democrat state senator Ron Calderon of Los Angeles County: In February, Calderon was charged and arrested by the FBI in a 24-count indictment by a federal grand jury that includes mail fraud, wire fraud, honest services fraud, bribery, conspiracy to commit money laundering, money laundering, and aiding in the filing of false tax returns.

Number 3. Democrat state senator Leland Yee of San Francisco and Marin counties: As part of a 137-page criminal indictment released March 26, the FBI arrested and accused Yee of being part of an intricate web of corruption, bribery, fraud, and illegal gun trafficking to Muslim insurgents in the Philippines.

This corrupt, criminal, and sordid political scandal is a test of the consciences of California voters. It is inescapable that all three politicians nabbed by juries and the FBI are powerful, entrenched Democrats. Will voters see the Democrats’ majority control of the Legislature as a problem, or see the Democratic Party itself as corrupt, or will they merely regard these three lawmakers as rare “bad apples”?

This historic turn of events is worth talking about, because statewide Democrat activists and their media friends believe this could harm Democrat candidates in this big election year. If you’re a Democrat or have friends who are, ask yourself and them how they think about all this.

After a heated exchange Friday, the Senate voted to suspend with pay those three members and Steinberg announced plans to conduct an office-by-office ethics review. Sen. Joel Anderson, the El Cajon Republican who had unsuccessfully pushed for a Wright expulsion vote, said the Senate leader’s talk “falls woefully short of being meaningful.” He compared suspension to paid vacation, and said that “If you reward bad behavior, you can get more of it.”

John Burton, chairman of the California Democratic Party, said he does not think voters will hold all Democrats accountable for the actions of three rogue operators, but he said the allegations are worrisome. “It’s a concern, one, because they’re all Democrats, but more than that, it’s a concern for the institution that I was honored to not just serve in but to lead.”

The Democrats’ drought deception

Saturday, February 15, 2014, 5:15 pm | Randy Thomasson

ObamaFresnoFeb2014

You’re seeing Democrat politicians telling a big lie about California’s extraordinary drought.

On Friday, Barack Obama was in California’s Central Valley, which produces most of California’s fruits and vegetables and dairy products. The Central Valley is being hurt — and the rest of California by extension — because there has been little rain in December and January (thus the snowpack is low) and no large California dams have been constructed since the 1970s (despite a doubling of the state population).

But did Obama, and Jerry Brown and Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer, who were all with him, even mention the only real solutions, which are: 1)  praying to God for rain, and 2) demanding new construction of water storage so that the wet months’ rain can be saved for people’s needs in the dry months? Not a chance.

Instead, Obama, Brown, Feinstein, and Boxer called for bigger government programs, water rationing, and – can you believe it – blamed their false villain of “man-made global warming” instead of blaming themselves and their radical environmental group allies for refusing to build large, new dams to serve the public. Of course, the liberal media is fawning all over them, and is helping to deceive the public that these politicians really care enough to bring new water to people.

But if these Democrat leaders truly cared about ushering in more water, they would at least agree with the Republican House of Representatives’ sound plan to stop California’s drinking water from being sent into the ocean, and instead divert that good water back to farmers and families. To get there, the Democrat politicians would have to reject their environmental wacko groups and accept the fact that Californian farmers and families need more water, right now.

This commonsense plan to prioritize water for people will only happen if voters who know the truth will rise up and demand more water supply and more water storage from the Democrat lawmakers in Sacramento and Washington, D.C. In an election year, if people’s voices are heard, we might just see some unprecedented action to quench a thirsty land.

Please barrage Sacramento with phone calls to “Build more water storage!” And spread the word to others!

“We went into 2013 with reservoirs 80% full and ended the year at 20% full, and now we have 0%,” said Valadao, citing the failure to build adequate storage for water. “We had lots of opportunities to prepare,” he noted, but Democrats “blew it.”
