Newsom deceptively claims California’s in good economic shape

SaveCalifornia.com provides this solely for educational purposes
and does not support or oppose candidates for public office.

Instead of saying what he’s going to do to lower gas prices, decrease inflation, prevent crime, and truly eliminate transients (such as banning homeless camping on public land, which Florida’s Ron DeSantis is doing), California’s Democrat Party Governor Gavin Newsom is tooting his own horn — but is he lying again?

Click to watch Newsom’s Sunday, May 5 video promoting himself as brave, admirable, pro-prosperity, and pro-America, when he says, “Travel spending in the state reached an all-time high”:

But we say it’s “high time” to ruthlessly fact-check Gavin Newsom.

What do you “credit” for price increases in California? Because bad government increases the cost of everything (and remember, Democrat Party politicians have been ruling California for a long time now).

His war on oil jacking up gas prices, burdensome regulations on businesses, “minimum wage” hikes, amusement park & hotel price increases, etc.

Add to this Newsom & Co.’s policies promoting illegal aliens, early release of convicts, “climate change” regulations on businesses, and nearly whatever union bosses want, which is always more money and power. All these bad policies have increased the cost of living in California in the Newsom era.

So yes, California tourists are paying more than before, because Newsom & Co.’s oppressive policies have CAUSED higher prices than in 2022, 2021, 2020, and 2019. This rapid inflation is not a sign of prosperity, but another demonstration that Democrat Party policies make life more costly for both tourists and residents.

As the non-conservative CalMatters observed in December, “There are warning signs for the California economy: Unemployment is inching up, tech layoffs continue and IPOs are waning. Experts expect a downturn, but it’s still possible the state will avoid a recession.” And this came two months before the California Legislative Analyst reported an even higher state budget deficit of $73 BILLION.

But Gavin Newsom, a professional liar who’s still running for president, can’t be bothered with facts, can he? He’s not at all interested in solving California’s myriad of public problems, because, as a true narcissist, he’s loathe to admit the truth — that he’s caused or accelerated most of them since becoming governor in 2019.

Celebrate the shelving of the assisted suicide expansion bill, SB 1196

Thursday, April 18, 2024, 11:42 am | Randy Thomasson

A great moral victory! SB 1196 giving killer drugs to MENTALLY or PHYSICALLY DISABLED — or to anybody with one of any of the thousands of INCURABLE diseases who rejects treatment and wants to die — has been shelved by its author, Democrat Party State Senator Catherine Blakespear of San Diego and Orange counties.

“Politico” broke the story April 17:
“At this point, there is a reluctance from many around me to take up this discussion, and the future is unclear,” Blakespear said in a statement. “The topic, however, remains of great interest to me and to those who have supported this bill thus far.” Her bill would have expanded the state’s current End Of Life Options Act to allow patients without a specific prognosis to request life-ending drugs if they are suffering from a “grievous and irremediable medical condition.” Current law in California and all other states says patients can only request these drugs when they have six months left to live.

Washington Post, 2016“We generally say: Several thousand diseases affect humans of which only about 500 have any U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved treatment,” said Cindy McConnell, a spokeswoman at NIH’s National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS).

SaveCalifornia.com, 2024: Under SB 1196, if you’re 18, and have an “incurable” illness or disease of any kind (including an incurable sexually-transmitted infection) that limits your “capability” to any extent, and you say you’re “suffering,” and feel that life is “intolerable,” and claim that continued treatment is not “acceptable” to you, and declare you’re not “willing to attempt” other treatments, you get to either swallow a lethal dose of drugs or be injected with the lethal drugs with the “assistance” of “a health care provider placing an intravenous catheter…into the qualified individual’s vein.”

THANK YOU to everyone who did anything to oppose this devilish, inhuman bill!

How was this very dangerous “expansion” of “assisted suicide” defeated? The main reason is the pro-assisted suicide organization, “Compassion & Choices,” opposed getting rid of their (the State of California’s since 2016) “terminal” prognosis of having “less than six months to live” standard — and they let the Democrat committee members know it.

However, unlike this pro-euthanasia group, SaveCalifornia.com rallied phone calls in opposition to SB 1196 because we know:

  • Euthanasia, “the administration of a lethal agent…to a patient,” is murder
  • It is inhuman to “permit” elderly or disabled people to dehydrate to death
  • The Word of God consistently commands the protection of innocent human life
  • Choice is an illusion in assisted suicide and euthanasia bills and laws

For these reasons and more, SaveCalifornia.com urges all people of moral conscience to steadfastly protect innocent human life from conception to natural death.

Because God created human beings in his image, every human life from conception to death bears the image of God and has inestimable worth (Genesis 1:27). Therefore, Christians must be committed to a consistent ethic of life that safeguards the essential nature of human life at all stages, with a special concern to protect the lives of the most vulnerable. The unborn, the very young, the aged, those living in poverty, the chronically or terminally ill, those with disabilities and those with genetic diseases deserve our particular care and protection. Our public policy agenda should reflect these broad commitments.

Newsom snookered voters to attract transients worldwide

Monday, March 25, 2024, 9:05 am | Randy Thomasson

Thank you for standing for Truth, and for voting right and helping others vote right, and especially for what you did to help expose the very bad Proposition 1 in California’s March 5 primary election. I admire your good deeds for the love of God and people! Here’s my take on Gavin Newsom’s embarrassing “narrow victory.”

Once the Secretary of State and the media discovered a 50-50 split — and some days Prop. 1 was losing — Newsom & Co. aggressively called for “ballot fixing,” with which large counties with a huge backlog of rejected ballots, such as Los Angeles, Alameda County, and Sacramento County, dutifully complied.

When vote-by-mail ballots are littered throughout California, piling up at apartment building mailboxes (most county registrars of voters DO NOT believe in honest, accurate elections, so they DO NOT clean the voter rolls of people who have moved or died), both election fraudsters inside and outside elections offices have the opportunity to turn rejected ballots with a mismatched signature or no signature, or a wrong or missing voter registration address, into a “cured ballot” that is then processed and counted.

In this “black box” environment, none of us know whether election fraud was or was not committed. Which is why true Christians with authentic fear of God and love for the U.S. Constitution need to work at elections offices, where they can shine their lights.

Now that Prop. 1 has passed (the Associated Press says so), it’s either going to be more taxpayer money down the drain, or if actually used for “free housing for homeless” it will be a strong magnet for transients worldwide to stream to sunny California for valuable housing, with zero requirements for treatment, counseling, or training of any kind.

Don’t believe Newsom wants more transients to stream to California? Watch California’s Democrat Party governor in 2021 (view from 38:20 to 40:09) as he signs $12 BILLION of our dollars away for “homeless,” and actually invites transients worldwide to California!

What does Gavin Newsom’s embarrassing Prop.1 “narrow victory” mean on a positive note? Be encouraged that more Californians don’t trust Newsom and don’t trust Big Goverment “solutions” to fix homelessness. This means pain is teaching more Californians to be wiser!

…for even when we were with you, this we commanded you,
that if anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat…
