The teacher unions have been in charge of California’s “public” schools for decades. The result is children who are ill-mannered and lack critical thinking and academic proficiency.

I’m angry that state schools chief Jack O’Connor was ho-hum about the new drop-out data. Yesterday, O’Connell reported 1 out of 5 kids drop-out of California public schools (it’s really more than 33%). This is atrocious and completely unacceptable. But O’Connell and the teacher unions just sigh and say they need more money when money isn’t the answer but parents back in charge is.
