Democrats turned out big to vote, Republicans and the Church didn’t

The 2 statewide races — for president and for U.S. Senate — were dominated by Democrats, and they energized and brought out more Democrats to vote than Republicans.

Official election results | Steve Frank: “Republican Party in California in ICU”

I always hunger for Church renewal, which would not just “balance” the evil forces with the forces of good but would overcome sin. Of course, without repentance, this won’t happen personally or politically.

So, on June 7, there were more wins for anti-family Democrats and notable losses for good Republicans who would have actually fought for children and families.

  • There won’t be any Republican — liberal or conservative — in the U.S. Senate runoff in November. Instead the “choice” will be between two staunch liberals, Democrats Kamala Harris (40%) and Loretta Sanchez (18.5%). Among the Republican candidates, mostly conservative Tom Del Beccarro gained only 4.2%, while liberal, moneyed Republican Duf Sundheim gained 8%. Stalwart conservative Phil Wyman did surprising strong at 4.9%. Add up all the votes for the 12 Republican candidates in this race, and it totals 29.4%. Can you say divide and conquer?
  • I’m personally sad that pro-family champions Andy Pugno of Folsom and Mike Spence of West Covina have fallen short in their Assembly races, that Samuel Anderson lost his Stockton-area state Senate campaign, and that Tim Donnelly of San Bernardino County came short in his congressional bid. These losses for these pro-family fighters are losses for California families.
  • A strong, pro-family conservative named Justin Fareed has gotten more votes than wimpy Republican Katcho Achadjian in the congressional district covering Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. This could be a conservative pick-up in November, as could another congressional seat in San Bernardino County, where a strong pro-family fighter, Republican Paul Chabot, could replace incumbent Democrat Pete Aguilar.
  • Looking ahead, there’s a chance for greater conservative turnout in November if full-blown marijuana legalization joins the grocery store plastic bag ban on the statewide ballot. But that won’t be enough for victory, unless many more individuals and pastors work to define what’s constitutional and pro-family and challenge California voters to open their eyes and ears to the existence and evidence of absolute good and evil.

is evil. Cling to what is good. Romans 12:9

Children’s souls dissed by California Senate

It’s not only sad — it’s frightening and angering that the California State Senate has said giving a little more religious Released Time Education away from the iron-fisted grip of the public schools upon children’s minds, hearts, bodies, and souls… is a BADDDDDD thing.

The vote Monday in the 40-member California State Senate was 15 yes, 18 no on SB 1457 (21 votes are needed to pass), which would allow school boards to expand the hours of Released Time Education and give some school credit hours to attending students.

One of the most evil things that happened during the debate was that pro-perversity Democrats labeled religious education as bad:

Senate Bill 1457, which was opposed by the state’s powerful teachers unions, faced strong objections from Democrats who argued that it would undermine the secular foundation of public education and violate the Constitution’s “establishment clause” separating church and state. Several members noted that the state would have no influence over the content of the religious instruction, raising the possibility that students might receive credit for anti-gay or white supremacist teachings. Sacramento Bee story

Another evil thing was the massively wealthy California teachers union lobbied hard against the bill, even pulling a co-author, Democrat Jim Beall, into the abstain column. Can you say pimps and prostitutes? If the 7 senators that purposefully abstained voted yes, the bill would have passed!

What’s your reaction when the majority of state senators are against children learning to love their neighbor as themselves and learning stealing is wrong and that God is watching them? With this, you know that the majority of these legislators are evil, corrupt, anti-children, anti-God, and need to be replaced.

Fortunately, this is an election year, and half of these state senate districts are up for grabs (so are all 80 state assembly districts and all 53 California congressional districts).

So please, response to this attack upon the most sublime, basic, traditional religious freedom bill imaginable for children:

1. REPORT: Let other people know who voted for or against moral standards for children. See the 15-18 Senate floor vote and Democrat floor analysis

2. CALL SACRAMENTO: Since SB 1457 was approved for “reconsideration” — meaning the bill could return for a second vote within a week — please call the 7 swing votes to urge them:”Vote yes on SB 1457. Children need to be taught do not steal and treat others as you ought to be treated. This bill is optional for school districts. Please do what’s right and vote yes.”

51 Democrats + 4 Republicans attack ‘men,’ ‘women,’ ‘boys’ and ‘girls’

(This post was updated on May 12 when the final vote changes had been tallied and reported on the Legislature’s bill tracking site.)

I have very bad news to report. The California Assembly has voted to tear down “men,” “women,” “boys,” and “girls” signs at all single-user restrooms statewide. The State Senate votes next.

In the 80-member Assembly, the May 9 passage of AB 1732 was 55 to 19. But the inside story is Democrat bullies and scaredy-cat Republicans. Get this — only 1 Republican, James Gallagher of Yuba City, cared enough to speak on the floor against this tyrannical, anti-family bill.

hearitstopitListen to the all-too-quick
Assembly floor “debate”on AB 1732

What’s the real goal of AB 1732? A decade of “all gender” single-user restrooms will be enough to desensitize young people to support “all gender” multi-person restrooms!

And the dozen or more Democrats who had refused to support AB 1732 for four straight floor sessions? They were bullied into submission. And of course, there were the four Republicans who voted against family values and religious freedom when they voted yes on AB 1732. Why do they call themselves “conservative”?

Thank you to EVERYONE who calls and sent emails in the weeks leading up to the Assembly vote. You did well, and you have my appreciation and admiration! But where were the churches, church schools and pro-family California businesses? SaveCalifornia.com’s intense lobbying effectively delayed a vote for two weeks, and helped change 2 Republicans from yes to no or abstain. And now, I ask you to act on your anger and concern on behalf of all that is good and right:

PLEASE RESPOND RIGHT NOW: Call to thank Assemblyman James Gallagher at 916-319-2003 for his gallant effort to stop AB 1732 by speaking against it on th floor. And call the 4 Republicans who voted yes and tell them they have voted anti-family: Catherine Baker, Ling Ling Chang, Young Kim, and Brian Maienschein. Every other assemblymember who claims to be pro-family, tell them how disappointed you are that they didn’t speak up and fight (and don’t accept any excuses). And yes, you can leave recorded messages after hours. Assembly Republicans | Assembly Democrats
