Do lockdowns and mask mandates prevent transmission of Covid?

In July, the Lancet medical journal, after examining Covid data from fifty countries, concluded, “lockdowns…were not associated with a statistically significant reduction in … overall mortality.” Get it? The novel idea of a “lockdown” doesn’t save lives, despite doing a superb job of destroying people’s livelihoods.

And earlier this month, a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine found lockdowns and masks do not prevent Covid transmission. Military recruits locking down, wearing masks, and social distancing experienced a 1.9% infection rate, while military recruits not doing any of this had a 1.7% infection rate. Therefore, not locking down, not masking up, and not social distancing is as “safe” (and even safer) than performing these establishment-ordered acts.

And a large study of more than 6,000 adults in the small nation of Denmark found there was no statistically significant infection difference between people who wear masks and those who don’t. After one month, 1.8% of the people wearing masks had been infected and 2.1% in the unmasked group had also tested positive. This hardly-any-difference result explodes the myth of masks protecting you.

Remember, back in February and March, the medical establishment agreed that masks for the general public were ineffective in stopping the flu or Covid. But now, the opinion of these “authorities” has flipped, not based on science, but based on political correctness.

Let these facts stir you to rebel against the destructive, dehumanizing tyranny of lockdowns and mask mandates!

What the Incarnation of Christ means to you

Monday, December 24, 2018, 5:27 pm | Randy Thomasson

A couple weeks ago, I had a very busy day of working and driving. So…I went to a fast-food drive-through. When asked the obligatory “How are you?” I answered honestly in order to start a conversation. “I’m celebrating the Incarnation of Jesus Christ,” I said.

Curious, the young man at the window asked, “Is that like reincarnation?” I said, “No, reincarnation is a lie. The Incarnation of Jesus Christ is how God became a Man, born to die for your sins and mine.” We talked more, I gave him dollars, and he gave me “food.”

The Incarnation of Jesus Christ matters because it’s the very foundation of the Gospel, and the whole reason for salvation, Christmas, and Easter.

It all starts with the Virgin Birth, recorded in Matthew and Luke. A teenage girl from Nazareth, named Mary, was impregnated by the Holy Spirit. That meant Jesus’ “dad” was Father God, not Joseph.

The Gospel of John informs us, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” That’s where we get the word “incarnation.” The Incarnation of Christ means that Jesus, the Second Person of the Trinity, came to earth to become human.

This supernatural event was necessary in order for Jesus Christ to provide Himself as a substitutionary atonement for our sins. The God-Man was taking the penalty of death upon Himself in the stead of any and every person who places his faith in the shed blood and finished work of Jesus on the Cross. What an amazing, spiritual covenant!

Stop and think about it. Only a Man who was also “God in the flesh” could forgive anyone who confessed and repented of their sins and trusted in Him — including people worldwide who had never met Him and people not yet born. Talk about supernatural power and love!

So rejoice in the Incarnation of Christ. It was the only way for God to wash away the sins of true believers. And it’s ample reason to bask in the wonder of Jesus this Christmas.

JOYous CHRISTmas to you — in your mind, in your heart, and in your soul. And thank you for standing with SaveCalifornia.com, as together, we represent the best values the world has ever known.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.”

Don’t Be Afraid — Wish People JOYous CHRISTmas

Tuesday, December 5, 2017, 9:35 pm | Randy Thomasson

I don’t wish people “Merry Christmas” — although that’s MUCH BETTER than the soulless and anti-Jesus “Happy Holidays.”

Instead, in recent years, I’ve said to both people I know and don’t know (such as store employees) “I wish you a JOYous CHRISTmas in your heart, because true Christmas is about celebrating Him” (and different variations of this).

And sometimes, I’ll say “I wish you the joy of Jesus this Christmas,” which also focuses on the Savior Jesus and being glad about Him.

And you know what? By talking about Jesus Christ with a smile on my face, I’m having great success at glorifying my Savior and reminding people to think about Him and His goodness. You see, wishing others “Merry Christmas” just doesn’t make many people specifically think about Jesus. And have you ever heard about someone named “Chris” on a cross?

Stop and realize that between Thanksgiving and Christmas every year, you have a significant opportunity to stimulate people with whom you talk or email to remember and give attention to the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ. It’s all part of your purpose here on Planet Earth. I encourage you to risk loving others in this Christian way.

But whoever denies Me before men,
him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

Jesus Christ in Matthew 10:33

For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words,
of him the Son of Man will be ashamed
when He comes in His own glory,
and in His Father’s and of the holy angels
.
Jesus Christ in Luke 9:26

This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him.
If we endure,
We shall also reign with Him.
If we deny Him,
He also will deny us.
2 Timothy 2:11-12
